Sounds to me like this thing is going to get really interesting. I think teams will line up to play them and get that revenue money and exposure. TV stations will bend over backwards to get thos games on TV. It's a win-win situation, especially against the SEC.

I’m still very skeptical about the SEC pulling off the season. Money talks and the fact that Michigan and Ohio State of all schools voted to cancel the season is telling

Day, Harbaugh, Franklin, and Frost all have significant fines coming their way, I'm sure. I don't know the ins and outs of the conference contracts but I find it hard to believe OSU is gonna be able to just strike out on their own and be able to play.

It will interesting to see how this plays. Perhaps this whole sitatuation changes conferences for good.

B1G schools’ administrations have covered up domestic violence, sexual assault, and child rape in the name of football. To act like it isn’t a top priority to them is idiotic

Day also said he's going to fight "really hard" for mid-year enrollees to play both in the spring and fall of 2021 and have it only count as one year of eligibility.
Huh????????
Huh????????

Has anyone pulled these presidents political affiliation? I'd bet 90% of them are all left wing lunatics.

Agree. This has all played out in a way to “soften the blow.” Start out with the smaller conferences, then the two big conferences more accepting of sacrificing football for a “greater good.”
Then... the South.

Neither the Big X or the PAC 12 will allow their members to go rogue. Fall football is over for those 26 schools.

Like Jim Comey, Ryan Day is going Rogue.

No, because that would be a weird thing to do. Also, Chicken said no

How? You think he’s calling the shots?

Doubt the SEC if they do play a Fall season will share their money with anybody...Much less a Big Whatever it is team.

Gene Smith has been at OSU for a long time and has steered that program through many controversies. If Ryan Day is saying this he's saying this with the permission of Gene Smith.
Lastly, guys, just because people say something publicly doesn't mean that's what they believe or will adhere to. Be patient. I've been telling you all this is a power grab and some people won't make it to the other side.

But if Ohio State is willing to go to war, I don't think the Big 10 wins.
And if it's Ohio State and a couple other powers, then it absolutely caves in.
The Big 10 without Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Nebraska etc... they become a CUSA level conference. And they know it.

What's so hypocritical is that Big 10 Commish Kevin Warren's son plays for Miss St. Is he going to be in the stands to watch his son play ? Then I hear another espn clown Desmond Howard is demanding Nebraska head coach Scott Frost apologize to the Big 10 for exploring options to play ball & if not be kicked out. Cornhuskers most definitely need to go back to the Big 12 & play the long time rivals they use to play.

Those schools have massive amounts of money they do not have to make decisions solely based on finances. OSU has a 5 billion endowmnet and Michigan's is 12 billion. A loss of athletic revenue isn't great but they will be fine.

Well Tosu voted to not play so they aren’t striking out unless Day gains control of the U
