I would love to know why you're so confident in this. If your answer is Mason then you have no argument

"Because Derek Mason always has his teams ready to play, they always play Ole Miss tough and I think he will out coach Kiffin"

Somewhere along those lines if I had to guess. Which is laughable

Baylor? You think they could beat Baylor?

Vandy has a pretty good track record against Ole Miss in the past decade or 2

I actually think 4-3.

Baylor is losing a lot of talent, plus their HC. I think Ole Miss wins that

Obvious win against SE Missouri

Expected losses to Auburn, LSU and Alabama

Win against Vandy

And I think they pull the upset against Florida. That one is just a gut feeling, I don’t really have any solid reasoning behind it other than it’s a home game for them and I expect Kiffin to get those kids fired up to play.

Downvote all you want Ole Miss fans, but yall are 8-8 vs Vandy over the last 16 seasons.

That's as far back as I was willing to look.

From afar, it seems one of the Black Bears' biggest problem has been a lack of depth to play a full 4 quarters in SEC games. That is what usually destroys most defensive teams, especially in League play. How far away is LK from correcting that? Is there any qb competition?

Front end of the schedule is brutal but if Ole Miss can be competitive AND finish strong on the back end of the schedule and win a lower tier bowl game that would provide some powerful momentum for Kiffin to recruit higher profile players and build the program back to being a competitor who teams hate to play.

6-6 would have been Luke’s ceiling this season.

If Baylor doesn’t return the QB Brewer then the Rebels win this. Does Vandy even have a sophomore QB on the roster?

3-4

Don’t sleep on the Rebs playing Florida at home. Dan Mullen coming back to the sip will be feeling some pressure and Kiffin ain’t playin. Rebs have a winning record overall against Florida in the series history

4-3, even 5-2. Wait on it. LSU will miss Joe Burreaux and fall back to the pack. Kiffin will make a big difference in coaching an already talented offense. Baylor loses its entire defense, new coaching regime. Neutral field. Florida plays OM after six in a row, week after LSU.

Wins against Baylor, SEMO,Vandy, LSU, Florida.

You went 4-8 last year and have a 5-5 record vs Vandy in the last decade. It should be a good game between two similar opponents.

I'd worry about State's slide since Mullen left if I were you.

Like OM to beat Baylor, this spread will be so out of whack and OM should be easy money.

OM over FL is a good upset pick

Good post. OM leads series with Florida 12-11-1. Won 3 of the last 5 since 2002. Has led the series since Vaught came in 1947. Not sure that the line will be that out of whack by then, though. I believe Kiffin will make all the difference in OM's coaching. Luke was not a HC. Good coordinator, good recruiter. Kiffin has some talent to work with, and OM was a few plays away last year from being 8-4 instead of 4-8. Cal, Auburn, A & M and State all could have gone OM's way. The right HC always makes a big difference.
