OM was a much better team than their record reflected last season. A very respectable and competitive team that most weren't willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

I don't know what the FL line will be, too many games beforehand but FL by 4-6 would be my guess today. I was speaking towards the Baylor line though as Baylor could be favored by 7+.

Who is the HC for Baylor? That might be a reason for caution.

HC is Dave Aranda, I believe. His first time as HC. Not Kiffin's. I did see two lines the other day on OM-Baylor, and they were conflicting. One had Baylor -2, and the other had OM, -2. Because it's a neutral field game, I'm not expecting lines much larger either way.

Baylor - toss up. Close loss
SE Missouri - W
Auburn - L
@LSU-L
Bama - L
Vandy - W
UF - L

2-5 or 3-4

Say UF were to have a nice win vs LSU the week before and the OM game is an 11am kickoff. I could definitely seeing that as a ripe upset.

Auburn, LSU, then Bama will be a rough three weeks man. Ole Miss fans will definitely find out if their guys are fighters or not after that three game stretch.

I’d rather that stretch be early when there’s been less chance for injury.

I know their QB has some speed he torched us last year
I still don't believe he will play QB under kiffin. I won't believe it until I see it.

Ole Miss Toughest Opponent is LSU (9-3 Best case)

CFN put a worst case at 4 games!

Baylor, the first game, will be the most important

Aranda is a 1-Point favorite

That’s going to be one fun game to watch

Edit Add:
Pelini is going to have LSU sky high to get a chance to WISHBONE CHICKEN BONE Plumlee.

I’m seeing something close to that 63-17
WISHBONE CHICKEN BONING LSU put on Old Arch in 1970. Rebels gotta know they gonna pay big (interest compounded anally)

The first two years A&M played in Oxford due to the funky schedules.

If we start any better than 2-5 it will be a miracle so other than that I’m not sure how to answer the question.

Anything better is gravy

It won't take a miracle for OM to start off 4-3. Just a new HC who knows what to do with offensive talent. Kiffin is that man.

Either way, I do not think it would be fair to judge him off of this coming season.

If he wins some he should not, that is just a bonus. It seems to me that Ole Miss fans mainly want to see the team develop a solid identity.

Looks like it or at least they’ll be the underdog in 5 of them.

Dang their schedule is rough but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised to see them beat Baylor. That’ll hype up the Auburn game for sure. I would laugh hard if Kiffin somehow finds a way to beat Auburn.

Rich rod offense always scared me And Plummle and ealy was a perfect fit
Kiffin about to go down in flames
I would say his big priority is to win the egg bowl

His priority will be to give the team a real personality, as another poster suggested. Luke couldn't break through in the four close games that meant the difference between a 4-8 and 8-4 season. Kiffin inherits a great offense. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in turning things around.
