It wasn't just him. Kwon and Shy said the same thing.

That quote is nonsensical

Yes, losing a bunch of players including the All-American who was going to call plays and make adjustments and replacing them with true freshman does tend to impact communication.

I agree but Kwon said it didn't make a difference. Maybe he didn't want to put it on the freshmen.

Shut up chump! Some of us can see Golding is deficient. And, now we have one of our most intelligent players calling it out for what it is. Golding is deficient and like I have prophesied Charlie Strong will be DC by midseason if this continues.

Did you even read the article? It says the opposite.

Did you read the article? Terrell Lewis implicates both players and the DC.
quote:
Asked to clarify whether he meant player-to-player communication or coach-to-player to communication, Lewis did not shy away from implicating those making the calls from the sideline.
“Communication from the top down, as far as even play calling and as far as just on the field, guys relaying the calls and relaying the signals, stuff like that,” he said.

If one reads the full article, the blame is spread around properly. Only the author of the article chose to focus the headline on Lewis' quotes because scandal, however small, makes folks click. Ad revenue trumps unbiased reporting and fair headlines, apparently.

Dude I read the entire article. Now, we have posters who are telling other posters they can't comprehend what they are reading. Give me a break. Pete Golding must be paying some of you.

Yeah, I mean, I don't think its a big revelation that communication was a problem last year, with two true freshmen LBers starting.
And I don't think that anyone is saying, or has said, that Golding isn't still figuring some things out at this level as far as player communication.
Something that was kind of lost on me until reading that is how much the older players had to adjust going from communicating with mainly upperclassmen pretty much every year they were at Bama pre-2019, to playing beside a bunch of true freshmen. That's a big change.
The LSU game was referenced by Davis, and Lewis, which makes sense. LSU did that to pretty much every team they played in 2019, so of course our problems were going to be amplified when we played them.

If you want to take a single part of a larger quote out of context and apply whatever meaning you want, then there really isn't anything I can say to debate it.
Personally, I think it's pretty damn ignorant.
You're a piece of trash. And, you got the right one now chump. I'll talk shite about your Pete Golding sycophant arse until the cows come home.

Terrell Lewis includes play calling in his assessment as far as what went wrong with the defense. Yet, 3down10 says "He said communication, not that the plays being called were bad." Are you Pete Golding? I'm dead serious. If you aren't Pete Golding you must be kin to him. You say some stupid shite in an effort to deflect from Pete Golding's poor performance.

Saban pays Golding and that pretty much tells me you are wrong.
Saban pays Golding, Charlie Strong, Charles Kelly, and Sal Sunseri too. Strong, Kelly and Sunseri are all former DCs too. If anything Saban is babysitting Golding. But, I think the honeymoon for Golding is over now with Strong on the staff.

The sentence starts with the words communication dumbass. He was talking about the slower pace of getting the calls to the players. Which the rest of the sentence goes on to clarify.

And of all those people, Golding is the one he chooses for DC. So pretty much everything you say about me, you're also saying about Saban. I feel as though I'm in good company.

You know damn well Golding is on shaky ground. Name me one other DC surrounded by 3 other DCs on the same staff. I'll wait.
