Also, wonder if he a good view of the punter fumbling as well.

3 turnovers by the offense in that game - defenses fault.

Everyone, have always been wrong in thinking that special teams is different than offense and defense?

That's fair, 3 by the offense and 1 by the special teams.

But it's irrelevant regarding assessment of Golding's job performance.

Does this mean he's been fricking your wife since you are constantly spewing the same crap in your relentless and pathetic efforts to place the entire blame on him for last season?

You continue to spew crap that is irrelevant to assessment of Golding's job performance. I'm not married and I haven't ever blamed Golding or the defense for last season's two losses. Imo, his job performance as Bama's DC/ILB coach has been incompetent. Apparently you have no valid rebuttal to my opinion on that. You just continue to repeatedly spew a lot of irrelevant crap.

I think we're all aware of everyone's position on Golding. Golding is going to be here next year.

Let's just attempt to move on.

Nah.

You're the one who wanted to let the banned shitposters like Pabdy Fackler, prevatt and 3down10 back on the board. And they promptly went right back to doing the same crap that got them banned. Deal with it.

He wants zero blame on the defense.

But SOG is right, no amount of arguing is going to change his or anyone’s mind at this point. Both sides are just repeating the same shite over and over and over on who’s to blame or how much blame to put. It’s pointless.

I for one am getting sick of this shite. I feel as if the jury is still out on Golding due to the hand he was dealt last year.

That's fine, but keep it in threads like this specifically discussing it. 90% of this board is sick of 2/3s of threads about any random football issue turning into the same Golding sucks/Golding doesn't suck argument.

That's not necessarily at you Surge, just a general PSA.

I'm not arguing. I haven't blamed losses on the defense or Pete Golding. I've merely stated my opinion that Pete Golding's job performance as Bama's DC/ILB Coach has been incompetent. Apparently 3down10 can't state a valid relevant rebuttal to my opinion.

I know, I get it, and this is a thread specifically about those things so it's cool.

Just thought this was a good place to reiterate that we don't want to have every football thread turn into Golding stuff over and over. Like I said, you were just the last post. Wasn't really you specifically at all.

False, I'm just taking the circumstances into account.

Our defense last year was not up to par. But while some people blame Golding, I look at all the injuries and the factors that go into that.

If we had these same results while having the players and depth we had under the Pruitt years, my opinion would be much different.

I agree. So, I'm actually just trying to make this point to 3down10 -- With all of his antics in various threads he still has not made any valid relevant statements to support his opinion that Golding been competent in his job performance. He just talks about blame for losses, injuries, offensive issues, etc. He doesnt talk about anything that Golding has accomplished in coaching our ILBs to play well and/or coordinating good defensive performance.

Lets see how the S&P rates Alabama defenses:

2007: #21
---Start of Kirby Era, end of Kevin Steele
2008: #5
2009: #1
2010: #7
2011: #1
2012: #3
2013: #4
2014: #1
2015: #1
----End of Kirby, Start of Pruitt---
2016: #1
2017: #1
---End of Pruitt, Start of Tosh---
2018: #7
---End of Tosh, Start of Golding
2019: #3

And that's #3 with all those injuries. Can't wait to see what he does without half the defense being injured. It sucks playing so many freshman, but hopefully in the end it results in really experienced players in their physical prime over the next years.

You have never said any real reason why you want him fired, just that you want him fired...over and over and over. You constantly bring it up every chance you get.

You should stick to being the spoiled google search bitch.

Now you are lying. I've said that I've got nothing against Pete Golding as a person. I have stated my opinion that Pete has been incompetent as Bama's DC/ILB coach. But, I haven't ever said I want him fired. Instead, I've said I hope he'll seek and get a job (he can handle) elsewhere, ASAP.

Pete Golding hasn't accomplished good ILB performance (considering injuries) or defensive performance. Those are the two goals of doing his job well as DC/ILB Coach.

Are you related to Pete?

Still waiting for a real reason. Surely for someone who is constantly talking about how he should be replaced you can do better than this.

2nd question: Have you went back and watched the LSU game since it happened?

Alabama vs LSU, 2019 (in under 36 minutes)

Seems many of you just look at the final score and forget what happened.
