Rumors that James Coley is going to A&M as the TE coach. Georgia fans...yall hearing anything?

LINK

quote:

Georgia has a new offensive coordinator in Todd Monken, as the school officially announced his hiring on Friday. So what does that mean for James Coley, Georgia’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the 2019 season?

Georgia released a statement on that matter as well, saying he will remain on the staff and serve as an assistant head coach.

UGA just got another offensive coach, so I would assume that rumor is true.

That would be a good pick up.

He sucks as an OC but is a great position coach/recruiter.

Don’t listen to any Georgia fan in here telling you he sucks.

There is a reason he got promoted from WR coach to OC. He is a high energy position coach with great recruiting ties to South Florida that will help your team immensely.

That's quite the tumble, if true. Sheesh. From OC to TE coach.

I don’t expect him to stay. I think it would actually be pretty awkward if he did.

Great recruiter and should be solid as a TE coach. Unfortunately he was just promoted to a position for which he was ill-prepared at UGA. He'll be a damn good hire for TAMU.
