Really? Tough one? Lol. Why are bama fans so obsessed with LSU football? It just screams of fear tbh. It's so obvious that they're scared of what's to come and for good reason. We comin' and we ain't backin' down. LSU is gonna be on top for a long time and bamas run is over. LSU stuck a fork in them and they won't recover. LSU is the program on the rise and the new standard of the sec and the nation. It is just getting underway and won't be done for a long time. O is about to dominate this next decade. It's clear and obvious which is why bama fans are so worried. They know what's about to happen and they can't stand it. Gonna be a beatdown in br next season too. The days of bama domination are over and LSUs are just getting started. Good luck bc y'all will need it. Geaux Tigers.

Lol. LSU is most definitely a blue blood program. We are only going to move up the charts we well as we continue our ascendance. LSU isn't a blue blood, lol. That's just stupid.

Saying it in your mind or writing it down doesn’t make it so.

More to being a "blueblood" than natties, heismans, conference championships, historical win/loss records etc.
There's also historical navigation that nobody likes to talk about. Shhhhhhhhhhh.....

You going to leave out Michigan?
Posted on 12/10/19 at 7:45 pm to ugastudent
Lsu is the better program of the 2 and we are about to even the Heisman winners metric vs them. UGA leads in bowl games and bowl wins percentage and wins all time...though that will change in the years to come and LSU will lead in every category. LSU is without a doubt the better football program all time and recently. UGA isnt the program LSU is. We have more talent than them and will forever. Georgia football talent is overrated. Louisiana has better players and that showed in the sec title game once again. Wasn't even close. All that overrated overhyped uga talent from Georgia got dominated once again by Louisiana talent lol. Geaux tigers.

Uhh neither...
Blue Bloods....
Bama
Notre Dame
University of Southern California
Texas
Oklahoma
The Ohio State University
Michigan (they are so not the others but their name and “big house” gets them there)
Lets be honest... that’s it!
Now there have been some great Eras for
Da U
Nebraska
FSU
Florida
GA Tech(they were back in the day)
Clemson currently
And then there are the ones that aren’t really Blue Bloods
but have their moments and great brands
UGA
LSU
Auburn
Oregon
Washington
Mich State
Penn State
Tennessee

USC is down, and looks to be down for the count... the whole west coast is not relevant. these bluebloods look to be changing.. Michigan can't win a big game.

LSU. Easily. But, we're not a blue blood just yet. We need at least another generation.

This term “Blue Blood” is so subjective.
I always ask how many blue bloods can there be? Depending on how many you want to include then LSU and UGA can have a case to be in. Comparing both of those though one has 4 National Championships and the other 1. So there goes that.
Princeton has 18 National Championships in the pre AP era but have been irrelevant for 60 years. Are they a blue blood?
The best indicator of College Football’s rankings is the All time AP ranking based on the final ranking of each season. I know College Football didn’t start in 1936 but before that there was almost no uniformity nor much base for comparison. Some teams played 10 games, others 6. A lot of schedules included opponents that were not even Colleges, some of which learned the game the day of the game. Somehow that is a “win” but it’s ridiculous to claim them, at least with the same weight you do in the modern era.

Georgia is a has been. Similar to Tennessee or Nebraska minus the nattys in the 1990s. I just don’t think you can win on a national level at Georgia anymore

They're about as even as even can get. But I do know this fact. In the last 20 years, LSU is the only school in the SEC that has won at least 8 games each year.

LSU is the second best program of this century.
Second most championships in cfb (3), fewest losses of any SEC team in that period etc.
LSU was the 14th best program of the 20th century according to the CFB Warehouse criteria.
UGA is certainly part of the deepest cultural fabric of CFB. They just don't have the hardware.

Neither.
LSU comes closer, though.

This is ignorant. LSU is the better program for sure. Do some research before you ask such a dumbass question.
Posted on 2/3/20 at 12:55 pm to Eli Goldfinger
Neither is a blue blood, but LSU more so than UGA.

Couldn’t agree more.
It was the first thought that popped into my head when I read the thread title.
