Returning the #1 and #10 receivers (yards/game) in the SEC, 3-4 OL, 4+ DL currently in starting rotation, and 3 starting DBs. We have a true freshman leading the SEC in passes defended and INTs so not sure WTF you’re talking about when you say losing our best 2 DBs.

#5 recruiting class last year. #2 recruiting class this year and rising. 8 of LSU’s top 30 (247) all time commits will be on the squad next year.

But I’m glad you admit that 7-5 / 8-4 is “dim”.

We won’t be quite as good, but we’ll likely have 15 returning starters and the #1 or #2 recruiting class coming in. Next year will be your last opportunity to be less than a 2 touchdown underdog.

so still a couple games better than Aggie

Our floor is 9-3 next year. 10-2 or 11-2 more likely.

The future looks a little dim. I would guess 7-5 / 8-4 looks about right for 2020.

You're confusing LSU with your Aggies

Add in that Aranda and Brady may get poached this offseason, does this make it an all or nothing year.

I know this concept is confusing in a world where you will spend the rest of eternity looking for "the right guy", a world where can't miss coaching hires and promising conference changes seem like the missing piece….. but just never materializes....

These are the facts: LSU is in position to win at the highest level with a third completely different set of coaches/administrators, and a third completely different coaching style and philosophy.

Aranda and Brady are solid coaches but you were absolutely convinced Chief was the only reason LSU stayed competitive during the Miles’ years.

2020 LSU won’t be as good offensively but this program is a Monster with a completely different ceiling and potential than some pretender that has one top 5 finish to their name in 60 years. The same rules don’t apply to everyone.

DEAL

WITH

IT

Eh... you’re way off base. But I’ll correct 1 of your mistakes:

Stingley is a top DB. He’s a freshman.

We ain’t slowing down, breh. This is year 1 of a revolution. Check recruiting out, too. It may surprise you..

We'll need to ask kevin sumlin, hugh freeze, gus malzahn and gene chizik. Those are ogeron's peers.

In fact, with all the advantages built into being the only major program in the state of Louisiana, winning fewer than 9-10 games in a season should be a fireable offense.

It is. Just ask Les Miles.

Not only that, but recruiting is only going to improve after this year, also coach O will hire another coach with a spread philosophy if we eventually lose Joe Brady, now that he's seen the results for himself.

The golden age of LSU football is back, again!
