Finally, Bama players won’t be limited to the lowly Charger.

You can't change to something that is already in place.

Idk, but LSU will be just fine with this lol. I'm happy as hell!. Only power 5 program and THE college football program in the entire state? Oh hell yeah, with the talent we have surrounding us we are in baby! Let's do dis!

So the NCAA is allowing players to go to the highest bidder, and you think LSU is going to keep all of the best players in state? A lot of very good southern players are going to end up in the Big Ten.

Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon will be raiding the state and signing the checks. If anything this will democratize college football and be less about existing footprint - it could really hurt the SEC.

Clemson will probably get hurt more than anyone in this environment as far as their current place in CFB.

It will only allow the superstars in Football, basketball, and baseball to make more money. The average student athlete isn’t going to get squat out of this.

They are going to have to revamp the transfer portal rules because now you'll get players transferring schools because one will legitimately be offering more money than the other.
"We notice LSU is only paying you $5k but we can offer you $15k if you transfer to Bama."

Lol even if we poor, players would rather go to a winning team than a cult.

Damn, certain schools are going to have a huge advantage now. Texas, A&M, Oregon come to mind. OU has always been willing to bend the rules

Wonder if there is going to be a salary cap of some sort

It would be a shame if the same teams were in the Top 10 or got all of the best players each year.

Equivalent to saying a dead man is going to die.
Parity died decades ago.

Seriously, the most creative schools are going to take advantage of this. Like real life, he with the most money wins. I've always wondered who would win between A&M and Texas in an all-out bidding war.

Definitely don't have to worry about poor states and schools like LSU ...

Yep. I think they will have to go back to the old transfer rules.

All the small market schools will definitely feel the pain! Imagine you are a 5* recruit deciding between Bama and uni of Washington. But Washington can guarantee you an endorsement with amazon or Starbucks!

Washington has 2 major pro sports teams
3 if you count MLS

They won’t be putting that much money as Bama is.

Starbucks rather put up ads with Russell Wilson or whoever the frick is The Mariners best player

Will prison time count towards their eligibility for those who don’t pay their taxes?

Will prison football teams become a thing again?
