Does anyone want Nebraska to get back to a really good program status ? They'll never be as dominant as they were in the mid 90's but maybe Matt Rhule will eventually get them back to being able to compete with top programs occasionally. It's so hard to recruit to Nebraska but maybe he can do it.

Simpson didn't look any better throwing the ball than Milroe IMO
For anyone that was there, how much did the wind affect both guys? They mentioned the windy condition several times on the broadcast so I'm wondering how that might have affected the accuracy that a lot of people are complaining about.

It had something to do with it. It affected Reichard on a field goal attempt that 9 times out of 10 he makes easily.

I think Nebraska could be a good program again, not great like it was with Devaney, Osborne and Solich. That style of play was a perfect fit for Nebraska in those yrs.

I think Proctor starts at left tackle game 1 and is there the next 3 years. He is going to be one of the better o-lineman in the Saban era.

It’s the standard spring panic. Every single year. Just like this.

My gosh at this loser Georgia fan (a grown man) trash talking Richard Young on his Twitter account. What a pathetic POS.

What else is there to do on a Saturday afternoon in April in Nebraska?
Depending on the season, either pop or shuck corn.

Georgia fans were trying to rip our attendance too...they didn't realize that they moved most of their fans to one side of the stadium so it looked full on TV.

That sounds like something that would happen at a political rally. Georgia sucks. I hate their fans more and more every day.

I missed the 4th quarter but from what I did see from the stands it looked like Milroe did 2 things in the passing game - 1) throw to his first read if it was an outside deep pass or 2) see his first option was covered and then dump it off to the RB.
I didn't see a lot of reading the defense. It would be frustrating to be his 2nd or 3rd read.

Right now, Milroe is an RPO quarterback in any sort of offense attempting to maximize his skills.

Agreed. High school offense type shite is all we could expect based off what we've seen so far. Not what you want to see from a guy in his third year.

I bet he lights it up in practice. Some people just cant do it when the lights come on.

I mean, Georgia made a living off short passes and screens to the RB last year like we saw Saturday. They just had a great OC calling the plays and seemed to keep everyone off balance. It's probably enough to win a lot of games with a guy like Milroe, but like a lot of people, I'm worried about those moments when he'll need to pass his way down the field for a win.
