Same here. Been following since the Leon Douglas years. Unfortunately it seems to always end in disappointment. Oats’ recruiting gives us hope it might be different but it never is. Until he figures out you might need to sacrifice a bigs ability to shoot the three for one that can rebound I don’t see it changing.

Yeah I have heard him answer that question with why am I going to call timeout to tell them to play harder. I would like to see the reporter follow up with “if you think they aren’t playing hard then you call timeout to bench them and put someone in that WILL play harder.

Just lost wire to wire to the second worst team in the league. Embarrassing. On a positive note - we saved some money on hotel rooms. Maybe we can use it on someone that can rebound.

How do you lose a one possession game and the only timeout you call is with half a second left in the game?! Oats was just as horrible as our players tonight but I feel sure he will blame them like always.

Great road win! Fillon had a great game. How does the lead announcer mispronounce our leading scorers name all day?!?! And I swear it sounded like he called Mallette mullet the whole game. Lazy job by the ESPN announcer.
The Patriot League has to be the worst conference in America for Williamson to be POY. He is literally unplayable at this level.

The difference is MLB shortstops all have the arm to play any other infield position and typically the athletic ability/speed to convert to an outfielder.
TE's cannot normally convert to any other position. Or maybe we are gonna just try to add weight to several of them and move to OL.

We are not playing fast at all without Holloway. Also, Williamson is unplayable. That was a complete miss in evaluation.

Wow I just looked and you are right. He has not played much since the first game. I have not noticed that. I thought he looked pretty decent in the preseason games and even that first game. Other than the 4 turnovers ??

All Black Uniforms

I saw at least 4 teams (could have been more) wear all black uniforms yesterday. 3 of the 4 lost. Tennessee, Houston and Nebraska all lost. Only Utah won. And Nebraska went all in on it. The end zones were black, the sidelines were black and even the big N at midfield was black.
Now I wonder what Grubb may run off of this look. I could see Proctor going out wide again and we run something the other way.

Yep - how do you not even get a glove on a Sunday hop?!?! An All-Star little league shortstop makes that play 9 out of 10 times.
And I also question taking Fay out. He was only at about 70 pitches and should have been out of that inning right there. The next two hitters just hit seeing eye ground balls that squeaked through.
How have we won so many games with this shite bullpen?!?! Sheesh - this is hard to watch.
