I agree that the loss is on the coaching staff (@LSU).

But Fromm played like crap. That game is a big reason why Fields is leaving, too. A bunch of derp moments surrounding that gameweek.

The losses were 100% on Smart. The LSU game looked like a retard trying to frick a door knob.

Fromm was absolute garbage in that game. The coaching staff deserves some blame for not running the ball more, but Fromm couldn't have been worse if he tried. He left 24 points on the field due to inaccuracy and not seeing the open guys.

Fromm looked like hot garbage and the run game was working, Kirby decided to stick with Fromm. Players will have bad games. Not adapting to your teams strength is on the coach.

Kirby went into that game scared and played like we were the underdog. If we played our game (run the ball, kill the clock, and wear their D down) we would have left with the win. Instead we played like we were a cardinal directional school and went away from our game. Fake field goals, flea flickers, end around are what weaker teams use to find an advantage.

We did play scared. Why I don't know.

Yeah. I wouldn't call it an underdog mentality.

But I would call it game planning for a shootout (this is LSU... shootout should have been the last thing on our minds).

I wonder how much was Kirby and how much was chaney. The knock on Chaney at prior stops was abandoning the run. We had that issue in 2016 as well.

It's beyond me. Young coach believing the LSU Death Valley Hype?
When Kirby gets confidence and some more experience it will be glorious.

Here's hoping their saltiness transfers over to the actual game. Nothing would be more embarrassing than talking trash to the playoff committee on twitter and then getting beat. Smart needs to tell them to keep that crap off of twitter, and if they want to be in the playoffs, finish the game. They really only have themselves to blame for missing the playoffs.

All the comments about the playoffs don't give me the impression that they consider Texas a fitting matchup for UGA.

Do you really think a 4 loss Texas team IS a fitting matchup? I don't.

All those guys walked their comments back at the presser, today.

Yeah, but they have to back it up now. I expect them to. Still, they should have let their play do their talking for them.

It sucks. Our best win on the year was Florida.

After we win tomorrow... it will still be Florida. 3 teams from the SEC in the top 10 and we can't play ourselves. These contract matchups blow.

Welp, the answer here is that they were not focused. What a shite show.

Gonna be honest. I don’t think this board would be a fan of knowing how many players on the UGA team were on Bourbon last night at 3am.

You know, it sure felt like Kirby had a Saban-Esque grip on the program but seeing the lack of discipline, effort, and desire last night has certainly shattered that in my mind. I certainly hope what you’re saying is a heap of shite but I also don’t find it hard to believe.

Funny, really felt great about the program’s direction but now it feels like this off-season is gonna be a big gut check and litmus test. Instead of pity let’s see how the team and coaches enjoy and off-season of much deserved criticism and skepticism.

I was there. I was shocked to see D’Andre (Swift), Mecole, and some other guys out. At least they didn’t look like they were necessarily in a great mood. But if I take an L like that, you better believe no one is seeing me out like that after the game.

I reckon I don’t expect anyone to just sit in their hotel room but roaming bourbon st at 3 AM after you just embarrassed your alma mater does leave a bitter taste. Is what it is and it’s disappointing to see the culture of the program isn’t quite where it needs to be when I thought it was already there.

Kirby never ever looked pissed off. Saban would have been raising hell if his team gave such a sorry effort. Show some disgust instead of patting heads, coach.
