Hopefully this means they are going to take it out on Tejas.

Hopefully last night prompts the committee to rethink things for next season.

Well, I hate to say it, but they had a chance to play their way in...

Yeah, I can't really do the mental gymnastics to think that the LSU and Bama losses didn't matter. The system doesn't work when you have six deserving teams and four spots. Beat the crap out of Texas and take care of business next year.

Dawgs are pissed. I bet Baker will cheer extra hard from the sideline in street clothes now.

The committee keeps saying they want the best 4 teams to play. If they are going to decide based on the win and loss numbers then they need to put in UCF over Oklahoma.

Hopefully they don't come out and look like crap after all that talking. Maybe they should save the talking for the field.

The truth is you don't lay a rotten egg in Baton Rouge and we're in the playoffs, even with the Bama loss. Of course if you beat Bama like you should have instead of blowing it in the fourth quarter again, that loss doesn't matter either.

Were we one of the four best? I think we're one of the three best. It doesn't matter if you don't win the games you need to. You're not getting in over a 1 loss conference champion as a 2 loss non-conference champion. That sets a bad precedence.

4 best teams is simply the 4 best teams. Politics got in the way of ethics.

Clemson and Notre Dame was the ACC title game at our expense.

Clemson is the exact team that Bama is built to beat. Pretty boy will not have a pocket to throw from and Clemson had a difficult time forcing the run game on Notre Dame. Bama will shut that shite down.

Bama vs uga is the highest rated game the past 2 years so that's not it.

Absolutely. And I don't agree with the notion of backdooring into the playoff with a loss in the conference championship game.

But, should the public and committee ignore the conference parity? Should all conferences be treated as equal even though the percentage of fans who believe that equals Notre Dame fans.

I usually agree with having to win your way in but the sec was light years beyond the balance of college football this year.

I still don’t think we deserved to get in. We lost two games. If we didn’t lose to LSU, fine. Be we did, by 20!

I think we were one of the 4 best teams, but the regular season games still have to matter. My bigger issue is ND not playing in a conference championship game.

I initially thought 3, because that's what he's known for. Then realized that couldn't be it, so I looked up his number and its 30.

Thinking that you deserved better isn't necessarily a strong motivator. I'd feel better about the team's mindset if they were 100% focused on the challenge of facing a very talented Texas team.

They already said someone has to pay and that someone is Texas.

To me that sounds like, "We deserve a better game, should've been playing against the best teams but we'll take it out on a lesser opponent". Like I said, I'd rather hear something like, "Texas is a great team and this will be a very tough game." All the comments about the playoffs don't give me the impression that they consider Texas a fitting matchup for UGA.

If they go out and shite the bed against Texas then none of that will matter.
