But to hire him away from a fellow SEC school for the same position is crossing the line. Is this the first time a member school has done this since SEC-newcomer A&M tried this with Chavis?
Didn't LSU hire Dameyune Craig from Auburn for the same position (WR coach)?

It wasn’t a poach, IMO. AT is from Tennesse and graduated there. I don’t blame him at all for going back and thank him for what he did while here. Lateral move is a term coined by the media for the fans. This isn’t a lateral move in the eyes of AT, I can assure you.

He graduated from Lipscomb and that's in the state but he did not graduate from Tennessee, at least in undergrad. He did work for Tennessee, while earning his masters, under Fulmer and then was hired on Kiffin's staff.

Not the same at all. Miles had told Steele to start looking for another job.

Not the same thing. He was being demoted from co-OC by Malzahn.

Anybody gonna answer this question? Is this the General Manager? Graduate Mofo?

Google is your friend...

quote:

The first General Manager in the history of the Southeastern Conference and one of two in the nation, Thomas leads the way in the oversight and management of the entire LSU Football program. One of the top personnel managers in all of college football, Thomas works closely with NFL personnel to maximize the opportunity for LSU student-athletes as the next level.

FWIW, didn't realize LSU had a GM either... kind of weird, but sounds like he was good at whatever he does.

Even if you get three, you're gonna get lynched by the Tennessee mob. Good luck. You'll be at the basement, and at the rate LSU is going, we'll be right there with you.

Are you kidding? He's the sole person responsible for building LSU into the powerhouse that it is. Heck, he even brought in Coach O.

And Craig got fired at LSU at the end of the 2016 season. Probably didn't like Orgeron's gumbo.

Tennesse fan desperate to relive 1999. The year of his first open heart surgery from too many Dr. Enuf’s.
