Has the money situation in the State of Louisiana finally caught up with LSU?

However, what's most interesting is that UTenn "poached" him from a fellow SEC school--something which is traditionally frowned upon in this league

are you shittin' me? have you been under a rock for a coupla decades. LSU got DiNardo, UF go Mullen, Pruitt, etc, etc, ect. and the aggies would steal you blind given half a chance; and pay them double too.

He graduated from Lipscomb and that's in the state but he did not graduate from Tennessee, at least in undergrad. He did work for Tennessee, while earning his masters, under Fulmer and then was hired on Kiffin's staff.

He got his masters from Tennessee. He is also a lifelong UT fan and his dad was on the BoTs

Vols do well in the mid state, but bc of the people here with all different backgrounds (most of them didn’t grow up here and have not UT allegiance), I’m not sure it’s possible to lock it down (like LSU in LA or Bama in AL).

Is that why in 2017 the Vols landed 4 of its states top 10 recruits and 5 of the top 20, while LSU landed 3 of its top 10 and 5 of its top 20?

Sounds like Bama Jeremy has cucked him.

Everyone understands there is a Discrepancy on the title but there is also a divide on job responsibilities. Nothing has been decided and Austin is currently waiting to see if the situation can be resolved but he has not heard anything at this point. The vision that was originally pitched to him and the reason he made this move was different once he arrived and saw his MOU. Important to note that Austin has high praise for his initial time with Pruitt and Fulmer. This is not a tense situation and is just a difference in vision.

Its about as funny as saying Penn State poached James Franklin. Still, the point gramps made, that the "frowned upon" practice of SEC schools hiring away coaches from other SEC schools happens frequently, is valid.

Hell ya we do. He personally saw to it that we landed Jacoby Stevens last year among others. He does a lot of work behind the scenes that isn’t mentioned much. Dude is worth it
