If you are looking ahead towards a rematch in the National Championship then Bama better start working on defending dual-threat or Kelly Bryant will have a dang field day

Too bad LSU doesn't recruit QB's or play with one.

This is news?

I thought that's just common knowledge with Saban teams

Everyone is vulnerable to a good duel threat QB. It's the toughest thing to defend in football.

A&M scored 19 points and had 300 yards. They went 3-14 on 3rd down. They averaged 4.46 YPP.

But sure, something like that.

The dude ran for 14 yards and got a quarter of his pass yards on one garbage time drive against a prevent defense.

I think Bama’s D will be ok va DT QBs, we need our WRs to step up and do their job.

I feel much better about our game in November after watching the gumps last night against A & M. Bama is very beatable this year.

Alabama held A&M's rushing attack to 1.8 per rush last night. The lack of having a true pass rusher hurts us against DT QB's, but Buggs looks like he's coming into his own.

Bama's D wasn't a problem last night. May have given up a couple big plays that were great plays by Mond, but that can happen to anyone. The scramble pass on a dime dropped perfectly in between 3 DBs was just a great play. It happens sometimes.

Bama's O, on the other hand, was putrid. It also happens every now and then. Just win a tough road game when things are kind of out of whack on that given night and move on.

I wonder how Bama would fare against LSU's no-threat QB.

Bama has conquered the dual threat QB deficiency and did so a few seasons back.

To be fair, they scored all of 19 points... 2 of which had nothing to do with A&M's QB. Pretty sure Alabama is going to score more than 20 every game.

Was it Mond's 14 yards on 14 carries, the four sacks, or the garbage TD that help you arrive at this?

Kellen Mond couldn't get down field with his legs, their secondary made it very hard for him to move past the line of scrimmage. However he was able to extend plays and make some good running throws, that's what he excelled at in Highschool more so than running the ball downfield.

Dear OP, you do know that the score was 27-12 with :40 left in the game, right?

That dual threat vulnerability resulted in 10 offensive points when the game was on the line.
