Poor man's Derrick Thomas.
If you are going to be a douche homer you should at least reference a player from Bama that actually played the same position as Reggie White....or maybe a player that made as many Pro Bowls (13) as Reggie and not 4 less.

The stats are pretty comparable.

Thinking about it...wonder if Doug Atkins should be there instead of Reggie.

Tommy Frazier had a great college career as well.

Anthony Carter too. Not sure where to place him, but I think Emmitt Smith and Tebow did better in college.
Ted Hendricks is another player from about 50 years ago that should be mentioned too. Jack Youngblood as well.

Reuben Foster should have been Alabama AND Georgia.
Yeah I always forgot about those great debates on here about whether Foster, Walker, or Jackson was the better SEC football player. Great times.

I agree, if you had to choose between Sanders and Tebow based solely on college body of work it would be Timmy by a land slide.
If going simply by college careers, it would have to be either Tebow or Wuerffel. They are two of the most decorated college football players of all time, hard to leave either one off.

Bo Jackson is the man.

3 straight title games with Chron's disease sets him apart IMO.

My God! The level of Little Dick Syndrome in these inbred bastards is unreal.
These trailer park dwelling morons think the universe revolves around their filthy arse program.
Derrick Thomas couldn't carry Reggie's jockstrap on or off the field.

Yeah, too bad he was a thief or maybe he could have actually played 3 years
Herschel Walker also took an average UGA teamand won the SEC 3 times, and the NC once including an undefeated year. Top 5 finish all 3 years. 32-1 in the regular season. All while rushing for over 5200 yards, without bowl games counting.
Herschel and all 5 of his other personalities laugh at your post.

I'd say Doak Walker, Bobby Layne, Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson, John Kimbrough ALL before Vince Young
..after Sammy Baugh
..after Sammy Baugh

Von Miller is well on his way to becoming the greatest player ever from Texas.
I certainly wouldn't rank Baugh over Mike Singletary either.
Shite list dominated by QB's, RB's, and WR's. LB's can be great players also.

Billy Sims says hi. Not sure his college career (let alone pro) was what it could have been due to injuries.
But I think I've heard he was one of the most spectacular HS players in Texas history.
There is another guy from Texas that played at OU I always loved too, Greg Pruitt. It's been a while even for me, but he was a strong player in college and in the pros.

Florida: Derrick Thomas
I'm not sure how this is even a debate. Derrick Thomas was way better than Deion Sanders. I think it would be hard to find anyone from Florida to compare to with DT. They either didn't know he was from Florida or don't know about how great he was in college. DT had 27 in 1988 and 52 for his career.
I like Reggie White but the most he had in a season was 15 and 32 in a career. DT had almost as many sacks in a season as Reggie had in his career.

I knew that statement would get y'all riled up
But in all honesty, would've probably equaled or surpassed that had he not died.

Also from Kentucky - Couch, Shaun Alexander.
Though this made me think how many of the greats who played at UK, UL, etc were not from Ky
