The SEC Should Have Fla. St., Clemson, and Ga. Tech In It

I will always be frustrated with Georgia, Florida, and SC for blocking the entrance of those schools (at least that has always been the rumor - not sure if true). I get the TV money thing and all that, but as a fan, I care about having the right schools in the conference overall.
Those are the 3 right schools that should have already been in the SEC. Without question. Every other expansion will just be trying to make up for their absence.
As far as I am concerned, those schools ARE SEC schools in essence that, due to accidents and stupid decisions in history, have gotten stuck in the ACC.
It really is a shame.

There was a time when UF welcomed the idea of FSU in the SEC. They had their shot.

Georgia Tech left like bitches because they were scared of the Bear
Florida State is too scared of the competition. Bobby Bowden said so himself

It's too close to kickoff to be talking about this crap still.

What kind of fan wants less money for their own school so they can feel good about having smaller schools in it?

Kickoff is a month away. Camps haven't opened yet. It is my off- season last hurrah. Deal with it.

I understand that. That is why I said I "get" the TV money thing. But, at the end of the day, I care about the competition and who I get to see my team play on a regular basis more than anything. So, as a fan, it makes sense.

Clemson would not make it in the SEC.
FSU would not have gone undefeated if they had an SEC record.
GA Tech...weren't they in the SEC at one point?

GT was in the league and left. (Power of Bama, see TAMU and Texas). FSU had their shot.
I am 100 percent for bringing in Clemson and telling USC to leave. (ACC would probable not have them Back)

We own Florida, South Carolina and Georgia as markets already.

Clemson was too much of a pussy to leave when we did. Why would they leave now? They love being able to only have one or two big games a year

South Carolina & Vandy belong in the ACC

How does op not remember Gtu voluntarily leaving the sec?

GT withdrew from the SEC. Not coming back. Ever.
FSU turned down SEC's offer. Will not be offered again. Ever.
Clemson is satisfied with the ACC. Won't apply to the SEC. Ever.

None of these three teams will ever be in the SEC.
There will never be a 2nd SEC team added in a state which already has an SEC team.
Who was the last team added? Missouri
Would all three of the above mentioned teams accepted if they had been offered? Yes
But they weren't offered. Missouri was offered and has represented well.
