Two local players from the state of South Carolina both announce commitments to play for the Gamecocks today.
On 247sports Short is the 14th ranked player in the state while DeQuandre Smith is the 23rd.
Nothing crazy, but the commitments keep pouring in. Hoping for a surprise or two tomorrow p...

We may have our highest recruiting class since 2014 (I believe this was the stat I read the other day). I've criticized Beamer for some things but the recruiting has been fun to see.

Blew my mind waking up to this news. I know Rattler has some issues and reportedly some attitude problems but just the prospect of having a decently reliable QB here at SC is enough to make me excited.
Hope we can do something with this as well as the TE transfer in Stogner!...
