They are even hyping up that red mud shithole of a lake now. LINK

that was Lake Hartwell from several years ago during a drought. I believe that picture was taken over closer to Anderson where the lake is more shallow in some coves. any lake looks bad during a drought, trust me on this. lol

When you hear 'pristine clear lakes', people are talking about Jocasee and Keowee, not Hartwell. Hartwell isn't clear, but it is a nice lake, esepcailly the part next to Clemson.

Really? Wow. You know who I am? You ARE good! However, I did play college football, so does that make me an expert? When you make the point that you playe GT (QWhich UGA has beaten 8 of the last 10 or so) and NC State are tough games....well....let's just say your interpretation of tough is different than mine.

Ok, I think it is safe to say that no program has the same quality of team every year. I believe that some years that UGA played G Tech, G Tech was pretty tough. UGA may have won, but that doesn't mean the game was easy.

I'd like you to explain what has been so tough about SEC east in recent years, and Arkansas. a new team from the big 12 owns the East now and they lost to big 10 bottom dweller iindiana last year, at home.

NC STate has had Philip Rivers, Russel wilson, and another guy who was Tampa's starting qb for a year or two.

For the UGA person who said that 1 conference title in 10 years is better than 1 conference title in ACC in 10 years, i found this following information at in a column written in 2012 at this website LINK.

Witness the record since the start of the BCS era in 1998:

SEC vs. PAC-12 regular season: 10-12
SEC vs. PAC-12 bowl games: 1-0
SEC vs. Big 12 regular season: 6-10
SEC vs. Big 12 bowl games: 21-8
SEC vs. ACC regular season: 42-36
SEC vs. ACC bowl games: 16-9
SEC vs. Big 10 regular season: 7-4
SEC vs. Big 10 bowl games: 19-19
SEC vs. Big East regular season: 16-15
SEC vs. Big East bowl game: 3-8

keep in mind most of the bowl games are played in SEC states.

You realize that a lot of times they have a higher seed playing against our lower seed in bowl games?

maybe, but i think the regular season matchups is a more realistic indicator of where the conferences are in relation to each other. bowl games do tend to be in SEC terrority.

I saw that SEC plays a lot less out of conference games against other P5 conferences than other conferences. that's not a good scenario given the declarations that SEC is the best conference and so many teams in it being highly ranked because they are in the SEC.

I wish the NCAA would set two out of conference P5 games every year for each P5 team, so coaches can't manipulate their scedule to their advantage.

Looks like the ACC was the weakest of the groups.
