The best team in the country shouldn't miss five field goals in an important game. Could you contend that Alabama is a better team than Auburn? Sure, but the point is that world beating teams don't beat themselves. If they are great - the best - they win their close games.

Alabama was the better team. Auburn won the game. No one disputes that.
