Damn, that's a lot of assumptions in one post. Most people love the HUNH, just take a look at the Oregon/AU BCSNC game - highest ratings draw in cable history.

Well you're defending the guy that calls the HUNH a "pussy" offense while defending defensive players flopping on the ground faking injuries. Which one of these two are the "pussies" again?

Agreed. And they said even with substitutions, the defense only gets 3 seconds to respond. So some HUNH offenses deliberately run plays to their bench side of the field, immediately subbing players while the defense is still getting off the ground.
It's stupid. I say if you want to go HUNH without subbing, fine. That's fair, 11 on 11. But the defense should have more time to react to substitutions.
This is football, not basketball.

I didnt know the players on the field were calling for substitutions, I always thought it was the coaches. The more I know

the offense is called offense for a reason, they dictate the pace. if your coaches can't see or are not ready for the other teams coaches to sub out players, you have some issues, not related to rules.

Bama averaged 33:31.00 for TOP.
AU averaged 29:17.93.

If the offense substitutes the defense is given ample opportunity to substitute....read the rule book and learn
