congrats State fans - MSU poised to sweep today -

Carolina has scored on just a 3 run HR in 18 innings - USC has struck out 32 times so far this series - 14/ 35 AB Friday and 18/33 AB Saturday - Bulldog pitching has had its way all weekend -

USC being harshly reminded you can;t play Missouri every weekend -

Dang, Horns have already played 4 of the top 8 and still have state left

Not so easy of a schedule as everyone predicted but they do play 5 of the bottom 6 as well

Missing a lot of the middle of the conf

Just looking at your schedule, you finish with the #12, #7, #13 and #16 teams in the standings. I would say Texas has a great chance to win the conference with those teams left to play.

Standings
1. Georgia 13-5
2. Texas 11-5
2. Texas A&M 11-5
4. Ole Miss 10-7
5. Auburn 10-8
5. Florida 10-8
7. Mississippi State 9-8
7. Oklahoma 9-8
9. Arkansas 9-9
10. Kentucky 8-9
10. Alabama 8-9
10. Vanderbilt 8-9
13. Tennessee 7-10
14. LSU 6-11
15. South Carolina 5-12
16. Missouri 3-14

I love baseball. You can be simultaneously fifth in the SEC standings yet be considered a top five team nationally.

Our final series is at home vs Mizzou, which on paper looks promising, but then I remember that they swept a good Aggie team last year in the Ags’ final home series. Baseball is a funny game.

If the season ended right now, the SEC would have five of the top eight national seeds and seven of the host spots overall. Oddly, the team currently leading the SEC wouldn’t be one of them.

SEC baseball is ratfricking insane.

Is this the guy that got hit by a pitch in the foot and started some big stare down theatrics? Cased a uproar with opposing team?

Is that surprising for a Mingione coached team?

Maybe don’t act like getting hit in the foot is the equivalent of getting thrown behind?

It is possible. Does LSU have any pitchers left? Johnson has used like six or seven pitchers a game on average
