What exactly has Will Wade done? He's made, what, one sweet 16? I don't understand why y'all wanted to bring him back so badly?

They have like 2 SEC championships in the past 20 seasons and that one sweet 16 run in the same 20 seasons.
The absolutely hilarious thing is that 2019 season where they won the SEC and made the Sweet 16 was *checks notes* when Tony Benford was named interim head coach at LSU during Wade's suspension.
So technically speaking he has not made the sweet 16

They’re like the guy who’s never dated a hot girl who gets a mid girl for a bit in college, it doesn’t work out and they spend their life pining for a 6.
I think getting Wade back is less important than the signal that buying him out of Raleigh gives which is that hes gonna have a quality roster because their billionaire is spending his chicken money on college sports like crazy.
So while I don’t think Wade is very good in game, I expect they’ll be competitive again because they’ll spend again on NIL which is a huge step up from where they’ve been which is the absolute cellar.

Pretty sad to see such a storied baseball program completely quit on the sport after losing 3 consecutive weekend series then decide to go all in on a sport that they've won 6 conference games over the last 2 seasons.

This the same Will Wade that’s coached college basketball for 12 years and not once coached past the first weekend of the NCAA tournament?
