If they signed a contract and did not honor the terms of said contract, why wouldn't they be subject to being sued for breach of contract? If the roles were reversed, you can bet the player would sue. Just ask Jalen Rashada.

I worked with one that transferred in, she pretending to be a he. She started by insisting on using the men’s room, then later decided she’d rather use the women’s. Constantly played the victim and claimed she was being targeted and picked on, which wasn’t true.
Amazingly, the company had no playbook for this and had no idea what to do when she wanted to change bathrooms.
