Its just an opinion piece but one thing that stood out was the LSU write up saying Kiffin should win immediately...so why are LSU fans trying to give him a pass in his 1st season? He should win at least 10 games like Kelly did in his 1st season taking over a bad program. The article has Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, Notre Dame and Georgia as the Top 5. How would any of you change these Top 25 rankings?

We gave Brian Kelly a 1 year pass too, he just surpassed expectations year 1.

We should be pretty damn good on defense if we can get another LB and CB in the portal. Offense will require a QB and OL, which we don't have yet.

I think year 2 we make a big stride as the players get acclimated to his system.

It’s that time of year when Tennessee gets inserted into the Way Too Early rankings for absolutely no reason.

For the record, so is Auburn without much justification, but at least we have the excitement of a new coach. With Heupel, we pretty much know now what we’re going to get.

Look at the early 2025 rankings. Where are those teams? LSU is one of them. The rankings mean squat.

They're losing a lot. I think 7 starters on both sides of the ball and they haven't had much luck in the portal so far.

17. Missouri Tigers

Eli Drinkwitz signed a long-term contract to come back to Columbia, and the Tigers have their coach for years to come after his name was brought up for the Penn State and Florida jobs.

The Tigers will return the nation's best running back in Ahmad Hardy and dual-threat quarterback Beau Pribula, who battled injuries the second half of the season. The Tigers will have some young talent on defense and could be an SEC sleeper next season.

For da baws that don't wanna do all that reading

3. Texas (Here we go again)
5. Georgia (No way, Kirby has lost control of the locker room)
6. Texas A&M (Let's get that Aggie coaster climbing)
9. Oklahoma (this assumes Mater comes back)
11. Alabama (The writer clearly wrote this drunk)
15. Ole Miss (Too many questions right now)
16. LSU (can't wait to read the hate about being ranked lower than Ole Miss)
17. Missouri (Writer glazing Drinkwitz like he was an actual contender for Penn St. and Florida jobs)
22. Auburn (oh boy)
24. Tennessee (Probably the most accurate take)

This was written December 5th and mentions Michael Van Buren back at QB but that we'd also pursue Chambliss.

Don't click IrishDick's article.

I've always thought preseason rankings were ridiculous. Even more so now with all of the transfers.

This was written December 5th in the year of our Lord 2025 and says that the quarterback who is now with USF will be returning as our starting quarterback.

OSU will take care of that. Of course our fans here will tell us that we should still be happy because sark is better than the last 2. amirite?
