I have nothing to do with On3. Just a preference.

You can transfer any time and not enter the portal. Miami had one player that did it and he played until the end.

I wonder where Mansoor Delane, CB and AJ Haulcy, S were rated coming out of HS. And we sign 5 stars that go undrafted. Nick Saban used to say the people giving the ratings don’t know their a** from a hole in the ground.

If he has a good year just buy him out of the portal. That works for me

LSU Eunice is a farm team for LSU or will be soon. NIL deals for players there associated with LSU. I don’t think thats a secret.

I think we are way above that. It won’t be a money problem.
Plus I have already posted the Scott Woodward problems left with him.

You can change it up as needed. Even week to week. For instance we used to send Sam Nader out to check on eligibility for some players back in the day. Then we took him off and put a position coach on the road. At that time in 1990’s one coach had to stay in for some reason.

Someone always wins their conference. Be happy with the conference trophy. Not worthy of a playoff spot. Or form your own playoff and play for a mini trophy like Division II.

We knew Lee was going to be offered a large sum of money. Then baseball didn’t pay him when in bankruptcy protection hope he eventually got his money. Lost track of him after that. Didn’t have a backup plan at QB did we?

Can’t count a class being horrendous when you brought in Jamar chase and Joe Burrow. But a lot of the HS signees didn’t stay at LSU so that part is correct.
re: Retired football jersey numbers
Posted by Lsuray70443 on 5/24/26 at 9:45 am to The Blue Stuff
LSU changed the rule so more jerseys could be retired. So after 2007 when a jersey is retired it still can be worn.
Accidents can happen. Once a student manager gave Glen Davis a 50 jersey (Bob Pettit’s number) by accident after his jersey was ripped and he wore it for part of a game.
We were not giving 37 out for a while but Brian Kelly did. The equipment manager withheld Joe burrows 9 and layer Jayden Daniels 5 but that is nothing official. On our current football roster no player is assigned 20, 9 or 5 but 21, 37 have been assigned.

I am not exactly sure how walk ons eork nowadays. I thought we have a 105 roster limit and all 105 can be on scholarship. We had 102 in spring with 7 more signees on the way.
re: How crazy is it that Brian Kelly fired Tommy Moffitt

To be honest our special teams collapsed in that game plus as usual we couldn’t contain a running QB. I don’t see how moffit was responsible for either. Sorry.

re: Wade really needs to find a PG/floor general type now.
Posted by Lsuray70443 on 5/21/26 at 8:49 am to Ampipe96
Mouhamed Dioubate, F 6-7, 220 JR Kty.
Marcio Santos, F 6-8, 240 Brazil
Divine Ugochukwu, PG 6-3 JR mich. St.
Abdi Bashir, SG 6-7, 175 JR Kansas State
Brice Dessert, C 7-0, 245 France
Austin Nunez, PG 6-2, 170 SO UTSA
Michael Ruzic, C 7-0, 235 FR Croatia
This is the base team. Wade has two point guards. Ugochukwu is pretty good, Nunez was a top 70 player out of HS. Wade is not done yet.
If we get one of the 3 other players its a big win.

I think LSU is the only school that doesn’t claim a bogus national championship. And we certainly could.
Ole miss has the audacity to claim three.
