Alabama already did it last year, a G league player in 6 games, they didn’t forfeit any. The NcAA won an appeal (in an Alabama court no less) and he DiD sign a contract. The 6-10 center. The SEC said nothing.

Before the season we had a lot of posts about the SEC hating us and getting screwed by the refs.
Well…….
They grabbed Princewell’s jersey with two hands on every play. They grabbed the whole DL all night. I think they had one holding call on an outside run by a WR nothing on an OL.
They held both DT’s jerseys on the 2 point play clear as day, everyone is looking at the huge gap if its a holding call they go back to the 13 yard line.
On that play they ruled a catch the receiver landed on the DB it’s an automatic incomplete pass.
The fourth down stop they allowed to continue was total BS.
I say it’s collusion against us. Prove me wrong. This crew full of new SEC officials, i am sure question 1 about hiring a new ref “where are you from”
If you answer Louisiana “stop and hand in your application” in 40 years i think we have had ONE ref from in state.

Auburn is a tough place to play. We need to show we can play loose on the road and not like we have been playing.

Florida already reneged on an NIL deal and the player transferred.
Plus Lagway didn’t get everything promised.

You know the patrick peterson interception with both feet inbounds in the fourth quarter that they called out if bounds. That’s just one.
First drive of the game jefferson runs past the first down marker, the ball is spotted and the line judge moves the ball a foot short of the first down.

After what looked like blowouts in the two losses we were able to come back and take the lead and have a chance to win.
Should we have been in that situation? Probably not. But we have some glaring weaknesses than can be exploited mostly due to injuries.
Two converted TE’s caught TD passes or had big plays, makeshift moves after Green got hurt.
We ran truck plays that got them totally off guard.
I can’t explain why Devin harper didn’t win s starting job- the staff knew him well and he was playing part of the time in their playoff run. That’s is certainly one if our weaknesses.
The staff made halftime adjustments that you would expect a staff to do.
Did they do things I disagree with? Hell yes. I know everything to know about football I am an LSU fan.
This Kentucky coach was recruiting the same players we were, many were down to us and them. They spent a lot of money in the portal on key players. Despite their record they had some good lineman returning on both sides of the ball.
Sloan is familiar with Baker’s defense much like Golding was familiar with Weiss which is unusual to have to combat. I know ole miss had our offensive signsls in the first game until halftime when we adjusted.
All that comes into play.
We have too many injuries and have a dropoff in the replacements.
Baker does things I totally disagree with but its difficult to contain an offense when the OL holds every play and its never called.
