Put us at a 2 seed for an ACC or Big12 school.
My fear is that the pair is with an SEC team at the super regional level.
This committee does not want 6 teams in the CWS.

No one is blaming Schloss for following his friend Delcounty to Texas.
They were together at TCU.
The rub is with:
-The timing and how it was communicated
- How the players were shut out when they heard rumors
- How Schloss treated people on the way out
- How Schloss tried to take all personnel overnight
At the point that this went down, every other school had been in off season for weeks. This set us way behind.
So no hard feelings with leaving, (our AD) had something to do with that.
More about leaving in middle of night and how he treated the players and the media.

They definitely have friends down at the scheduling office.
The next four weeks will push them. Injuries, fatigue, and SEC tourney.
Definitely upper 1/3 with that coaching staff.

The real question is will the big dogs agree to roster limits and a salary cap?
Roster limits maybe, but then you create a stable of practice squads to supplement the active roster.
In addition, there are 15-20 schools realistically that could pay for a 30M roster.
If the salary cap comes down to 10-15-20M, where will the money shift? Nil, endorsement?
And what does the financial structure look like for players?
School base salary - dictated by salary cap
NIL - somewhat regulated
Endorsement- the wild west

But when A&M fans talked about missing an all-American 3B and another top pitcher in Sdao, we were told lots of teams go through injuries.
Bottom line, you cannot replace all Americans or your best pitcher. You plug and play and hope for the best.
I hope your pitcher has a speedy recovery. This final stretch will be brutal.
