Playoff game and it sounds like a noon game against a Sun Belt team

Not a lot to cheer about thus far.

The crowd looks awful. I know that’s a hike for Oregon fans, but figured tech would have showed up.

Just think - one of these teams will turn around and play in Atlanta in a week

The system is broken

We need to go to 8 teams and have all playoff games except the natty held on campus. Everything else is going the way of the NFL, why not that?

Neither team has any business competing for a Natty

Because…. The Big12 is basically the Sunbelt. Can we quit with pretending otherwise?

Oregon, it’s across the damn country.

The Miami area has some of the most uninspired sports fans coupled with the travel distance for these two teams.

12ET start between two teams from West Texas and the West Coast?

Why not play two games on NYE and NYD in the afternoon and at night?

It’s pretty fricking empty. But having Oregon travel just about as far as you could travel certainly didn’t help.

Well I am glad Alabama is in the rose bowl but it sure would make more sense to have Alabama and Indiana in the orange bowl and Oregon and TT in the rose bowl for the sake of fans. I mean you have a west coast and west Texas team playing in Florida and two teams in the center/east of the country traveling to the west coast.

I suspect the bowl committees get to either bid on the seeded 1-4 teams or are in a pecking order depending on the year or some such shite -

it was asinine for Texas Tech to be a top 4 seed and not get Dallas/Cotton against Oregon and place UMiami/Texas A&M winner in the Orange v Oh.State -

next the Sugar winner goes to Glendale/Fiesta and Rose to Peach/Atlanta - it's all as fricked up as a football bat - Sugar champ should go to Peach and Rose to Fiesta -
