Ole Miss fans love New Orleans and the Sugar Bowl. It's driving up demand.

These games should be on campuses until the semifinals

Tickets always drop in price a little when you get close to the game. Most people who are going to the game have already bought tickets, only people who haven't are people who live within close driving distance and basically decide on a whim to go or not. Also scalpers have to sell at a lower price or not sell at all.

Jerryworld upper deck has some pretty miserable seating opportunities.

If that obvious targeting was called, Cotton Bowl tickets would be highest on the list.

Miami does NOT travel well. They will have a core 8-10,000 only

Plus New Years Eve games suck.

I drove down Commerce st last night in Dallas. Lot of OSU banners up. Didn’t see any fans unless they were dressed up as homeless people

Pasadena is a hell of a long way from either Alabama or Indiana. Prices are only as high as they are because Hoosier fans probably feel like this might be their one chance to ever see their team in the Rose Bowl.

Miami fans suck, and OSU fans prolly want to wait until the next round to spend all the money. As it has been said already 100million times, 1st 2 rounds need to be on campus. CFB surely can make more money if they did that.....

Miami fans don't even fill their own stadium, not a huge shock that OSU fans probably decided to wait for the semi's vs coming to the cotton bowl

No another reason to cut it to the top 8 selected by the BCS keep the first round at home then run out the NYD games like the CFP was 2014-23.

All problems solved...

No more selection committee drama queens
No more watered down asswater games
Everyone who legitimately could win a title involved

Oh hey whaddyaknow - a regional matchup with social implications (SEC bragging rights) is in much higher demand.

Hell I live in Dallas and am thinking of not going.

NYE is one of the worst days anyway to get an Uber if you want to drink. Add in that the stadium is in the middle of nowhere and I've already spent over $500 on ubers my last two trips there and it's making me not want to go

I'll prob end up there as it's a nice cheap ticket and I'll just buy a parking tag.
