Looks like we are treating this like a Spring scrimmage and Va is treating it like a bowl game. Early rumors I hear was Drink seen this as a no lose, all loses this year were to top 10 teams, a loss tonight, ok all loses were to top 20 teams. Don’t expose Zollers and rely on the run (but not too much on Hardy who comes back next year) and the defense

If true, that’s some serious rationalization on drinks part. As a fan, I just want to be entertained. This isn’t entertaining win or lose.

Drinkpiss really outdid himself tonight. Hit all of his career low points in one game. Undisciplined flags. Poor clock management. Smug smiles. Poor passing concepts. A qb that can’t hit easy middle routes. Taking your star player out of the game multiple times. Running without a TO.

2 hole shots and 1 seam target vs a team that played Cover 2 most of the night is coaching malpractice. His guy up in the booth, Gleeson, is the guy feeding him front and coverage looks. That dude sucks hog balls. He and Drink combined to to put an unprepared QB on the field and compounded it by throwing into coverage.
Eli isnt smart enough to go grab talent and empower his staff to win with them. Next year is going to be a shite show.

Well VA showed us creative coaching can help a team overcome superior talent. Wish Eli would give that a try.
I am scared the new OC hire screams more of the same. Not too hopeful going into the offseason.
Hope we can nab a surprise LT talent in the portal, keep Green and move him back to LG, and replace Trost with an equal talent. Elite O line is the only chance this offense will have to be functional.

I turned it off after VA made the D look bad on their 1st possession in Q3 and Zollers promptly threw an INT.
I think the word is flabbergasted. I've never seen a worse offence.

I just assume it was Eli calling plays on that damn walkie talkie - that one designed qb run after a timeout was probably the dumbest call I've seen in awhile.
