As always, thanks for the knowledge Nuke.

I agree about Hopkins and the LBs.

If this offensive line can gel, the offense will surprise some teams.
And Lock covered some warts/holes on the offenses he was asked to lead as well. Plus, he may deserve entry just for putting up with that prima donna #1 wide receiver he had for the last couple years.

If I remember correctly, he did not have the best offensive lines in front of him and was asked to make a 100% boom or bust offense work time after time after time.

recent video of Aldon

Really sad.

World of talent at his disposal. Just had a bunch of extra junk to deal with that most folks do not have to deal with.

That is good to see. Quite promising.

Wonder if the Kentucky kid is regretting his decision to look for greener pastures now. Did not see enough of him to really get a sense if he was in the same league of running back as Hardy and Roberts.

Dang it.

That falls into the same category as Van Zant blowing a knee in an All Star game after the season.

According to the guys at STL Sports Central, it was a rap concert at a biker bar in Miss. (Weird combo all the way around). Crazy early in the morning.

Not the way to start an offseason when you want to be thought of as a Heisman possibility.
Good to hear Pierpont is still going!!!

Beat me to it, dock. The exact comment a quote like that deserved.

Random thoughts during the finals weeks

Driving by campus last Friday after helping my daughter move into an apartment. MU's new growth by Stadium Blvd looks so good to this old alum. When I was there in the mid 90s, most of campus had the old-established Hearnes Center look and feel.
Compared to that, campus now has so much new and improved expansion going up. The Hospital area has grown so much. Athletics has so many new facilities with an appealing look. Of course, Memorial Stadium looks like a new creature (NEZ is coming along nicely). And there are so many new dorms and parking solutions there within sight of Stadium now.
Just good to see as our old school competes in this modern world for athletes for the various sports and students in general.
Your nervousness is well founded.

STL Central guys say Barrett has announced he is returning.
And apparently, we just got a big name from the Pretend Birds

Bryson Tiller
Guys, should we be impressed with the new guys coming from the portal?

Looks like the Tenn guy is a bench player with good forward size who has been at a new school every year (makes me nervous). Don't know a thing about the other fellow.
Does Scherzer have any other suggestions? His support of Vitello back in the day is looking pretty smart these days.
Good luck when you start getting your lines in the water
And with these team, I seriously don't know if the second win would be any more likely or unlikely.
The schizophrenic pendulum does swing both ways this season.
And we have lost a few here recently. Time for a winning streak.
A 3-seed Nebraska in basketball is a weird concept to wrap one's brain around.
Yepp. I thought we might be looking at a winless conference record after the KU game and Braggin Rights. They definitely proved that wrong.
Does anyone else look at this team and just think

"Totally schizophrenic play and inconsistency". ???

Came in with a bang that first season. Steady, quick decline since
