re: NCAA to Close in on NIL Violations

I read nothing here to indicate the NCAA will do anything other than what they have always done.
The Ohio States, Alabamas, North Carolinas, etc. will do as they have always done. And the NCAA will hammer a North Wabasha State with a huge 5 year penalty every once in a while....
this feels like a situation where Wilks was done with college. There aren't a ton of NFL coaches that come back to college. Guessing they don't like the demands of recruiting and spending energy on the "feelings" of their players....

Texass in the SEC means idiot steer fans on the Rant. That may be the worst part of all this....
re: Scott Linehan. Discuss.

He was a horrible head coach for the St. Louis Rams, but the front office must be taken into account for any evaluation there.
If I remember correctly, he made his name as OC for the Vikings where he brilliantly decided to throw deep to an "in his prime" Randy Moss repeatedly.
In other words, ...

It would be awesome if he works out as well as the last Lebanon offensive lineman that came through, Mr. Britt!...

re: Gabe has spoken

I would have argued against the criticisms of Gabe here before this season. I've always found him to be the most consistently grounded of the MU press corps.
However, he seems to have jumped on the Cuonzo bandwagon this season. The reporters seem to really like the weekly philosophy class with Prof...
re: Was it a good basketball season?

[quote]I would be happy with the season if this was a building block for promising recruiting classes coming in. Unfortunately, this seems more like the “peak” of his program rather than a building block. In that context, this season was horribly disappointing given their 13-3 #10 nationally start.[...
re: Part of the problem

I don't think the fans are hurting the team or the program's reputation as much as losing double digit leads in the second half on a regular basis....
