His 34% against ranked teams makes up for it.

LSU fans said the exact same thing when LSU hired Kelly.

That was exactly the logic that some LSU people used to defend BK once the public tide turned against him.

You could have kept Brian Kelly and saved $54 million. Put some of that to get the top portal QB and a couple of the top offensive linemen. See if that fixed the problem. You didn’t have to make any new hire.

This feels like Groundhog Day.

That’s like a Pete Golding winning percentage

We've been saying this at work for weeks. Spend the buyout money on assistant coaches & portal, field a $30M roster and kick some arse.

Stop spending so much on the head coach when the coordinators & players are more important than ever.

There were a lot of us that hated the Kelly hire. We just were not vocal about it, as it doesn’t make a lot of sense to be.

If you can’t see the difference between a 50 year old Lane Kiffin at LSU vs a 62 year old Brian Kelly, then you are just dumb as fricking dirt.

LSU just signed Charlie Weiss, Jr to $2 million a year.

THE reason Kiffin chose LSU over Ole Miss and Florida was the fact that LSU guaranteed him the most, by far, to spend on rosters per year.

This is his first year in a 14 year career that he hasn't suffered 2+ conference losses.
