I did the google and this is what it came up with. Sounds very familiar.

Using words like "veer" and "shoot". "Up tempo" and "Go, go, go"

quote:

Overall, the "Go-Go-Golesh" offense is designed to be explosive, put up a lot of points, and create constant stress for opposing defenses.

quote:

Alex Golesh runs an offensive scheme characterized by a "go-go-go" or up-tempo style that emphasizes scoring points quickly. It is a fast-paced, spread offense that also incorporates a significant number of running plays, averaging more than 39 running plays per game at times. His offense is designed to score efficiently on each possession, though the rapid pace can sometimes lead to a low time of possession.

Up-tempo and fast-paced: Golesh's offense is known for its blistering pace, which is designed to wear down defenses.

Spread offense: The scheme spreads the field to create space for both the passing and running game.

Balanced attack: Despite the focus on speed, Golesh's offenses are also very run-heavy, often averaging nearly 40 rushing attempts per game.

Emphasis on points per possession: While the pace is high, the primary goal is to be efficient and score points on every drive.

Drawback: Low time of possession: The rapid pace can result in the defense spending more time on the field, as seen by the low average time of possession for USF.

Auburn defense has been preparing for him for 3 years now. This won’t be a problem.

I always chuckle when people describes an offensive philosophy as “put up a lot of points”

Ohhhhhhhhhhh reeeeeeeeeeeewally?!?!?

It’s a veer and shoot. Think Art Briles or Kiffin.

Air Raid passing concepts mixed with more run game. Hopefully power run game implementation with QB run game dependent upon style of QB. So you have a lumbering QB probably more inside QB power. You have a speedy running QB more option reading then end or OLB, and QB counter outside. Like I mentioned last night about Golesh was the only Air Raid system I liked was UTk's system..

He was the OC when Hendon Hooker was QB at Tennessee.

The base will be Heupel's offense which is an evolution of the Briles system. I wonder if he's made any modifications or innovations since he's left Tennessee, though. I'm not schematically literate enough to judge. Everyone in that tree goes back to late 2010's UCF.

It’s a cool variation on the spread. They REALLY take the spread to heart, with WRs nearly sideline to sideline. Lots of vertical routes. This opens holes for the running back and/or QB to gash the defense. They can’t crowd the box too much because of how far the receivers are spread out.

If they try to slow down the run, then, bam, over the top.

Golesh was OC during the year where Tennessee was the top offense in the country. They averaged 300 yards through the air AND 200 yards on the ground. Per game.

It’s a lot of fun to use in CFB 26. It’s my go to offense, no matter the team.

Yes yes yes. Its up to date and cutting edge. Something we havent had since early Gus. It hasn't taken me long to warm up to Golesh at all. I still gotta look into the supporting staff thm. 4 carryovers is alot, especially when one is the ol coach.

Lol yeah if the trade off is 3 and outs for scoring too fast that's a simple choice

Why? I am little worried about the system but that's mainly for draftability of QB and WRs

When they are carryovers from the 4th best scoring offense in the country it's a little less concerning. Golesh is basically the OC and play caller, so it's not as huge of a concern. I understand the OL coach hesitation though, he's hella young.

Defensive coach hires will be the key.

Yeah. Sounds awfully familiar to roads we've been done recently. Done with offensive guys.
