That's why we're calling it "flipping" the roster. Not "gutting" the roster. Some talented dudes will stay, the new coach will bring some talented guys, and we'll get talented guys in the portal. It's a new dawn baby boy.

I didn't hear anything about him interviewing 15. But he very well could call 15 and gauge interest. He's got alot of time, nothing wrong with him being thorough.

Yeah I really dont care either way. Flip the roster, hire DJ and keep the roster. There's several candidates at there this go around with upside. Whichever way they prefer to win is cool with me.

We almost got lane last year and you know he was gonna get Kirby money. Hell I bet we were gonna make him the highest paid coach in the game fr. It was gonna come with a hefty price tag. That's 2 in the head to this "we ain't gonna pony up" argument.

Yeah I wonder how Ashton would handle his side of it. You have to assume he's gonna expect to start and want a raise. And how attractive we are to a portal qb is gonna depend directly on the hire. That's kind of a pessimistic abused lover way to look at it but I can't really blame anyone. We've been Whitney Houston to the SEC's Bobby Brown the worst half of a decade. :lol:

You're not crazy. Thorne would lock in when things were going well and he didnt have a bad arm. The only redeemable thing Jackson had was his legs. I do believe he has a talented arm bc there's a bomb he threw on the run at Oklahoma that put my jaw on the floor but that doesnt matter when you need the receiver to have three steps on the guy covering him to throw the ball.
