I don’t understand why Bama is an underdog against Gonzaga. Is it because it’s in Vegas, less of a road trip for the Zags?

Still learning to play as a team. No starters back from last year and Pettiford is the only one with any minutes at AU last year.
We'll take some lumps, but should be pretty good in the 2nd half of the season

He’s their only good offensive player and because of that lately he’s been firing up a ton of shots.
They’ve totally lost their identity of defense and rebounding and toughness they had a few years ago, too. Getting out rebounded by UNO tonight.

Hubbard had 4 in the first half and 21 in the 2nd half. State went on a 14-0 run to force OT, but they could have won easily with reasonable FT shooting.

We are terrible but glad for the win. Our FT shooting was horrendous. 15-29
Hubbard was 5-13. Which is very uncharacteristic of him.
Obviously UNO did beat TCU on the road so they are not a bad team but jeez.
Coach Jans has a good track record of winning but so far this team looks to be his worst of his career.
