This Auburn team has a lot of potential.

Jans swung and missed on a couple portal guys. It’s a really bad situation. This team won’t win 5 SEC games

Way to come back State. You guys were down 13 with around 5 min to play and it wasn’t looking good.

Bama can win this game but they’ve gotta figure out the boards. Zags are killing them down low.

1st time I've watched bama play this season. Is this an anomaly, or is bama just Philon or bust?

They’ll be boom or bust in general but they have more than Philon.

Bama has no answer for Ike. I'm not sure many teams will.

Gonzaga’s front court is nasty as frick.

Gonzaga is really good. We did not play well outside of Philon. If Wrightsell is out we have to get something out of Mallette and he was nonexistent. Holloway played one of his ugly games. The bigs are what they are.

Gonzaga has an impressive bunch.

bama is the same bama. If they are knocking down 3's, they will run you out of the gym. If they play a physical team that plays big down low, they will have problems.

If he goes scoreless for 10 min straight then bama will likely lose

Agree, but gonna have to be a pretty high level physical team with bigs and shot makers. Purdue and Gonzaga are certainly at the top of that list.

We’re better all around defensively than we’ve been since the Clowney/Miller team, but our bigs can be manhandled by quick jump bigs around the rim.

I think the jury is still out. Bama could probably still have a perfectly fine front court, even as playing effing Purdue and Gonzaga does little perception wise.

We will use it as little as we have to lineup wise, which speaks to its quality (and the depth at other spots) I think. It’s not a complete disaster, but it’s a mismatch against teams with multiple very good bigs.

Gonzaga has the single best defense in Mark Few’s career. Alabama is really really good but Gonzaga’s defense has made every team look mediocre offensively. Phelan is damn good.

Guard play is the great differentiator, and you have effing Philon.

You’re in good shape.
