It definitely is an odd list…

Simpson has looked great!

I suspect it will not be a QB.

Imagine being two probable first round picks on the same defensive front and yet seeing your team drop from #4 to unranked and needing a hail mary-level conference title just to get into the playoffs.

Not a very inspiring list. I'll take Bain, but I suppose some crappy team like the Jets will talk themselves into taking a QB.

Arch only goes #1 if the cowboys have the pick.

Allar has the 10th highest odds. The 10th QB taken is like a 4th or 5th round draft pick.

If you made me take a flyer on someone, Bain Jr looks like a good one for Miami
Big DE who can play in a 4-3 or 3-4 and has put up great numbers his entire college career

For 2027 I can see some people thinking Arch will figure it out but for this year the #1 pick, thats silly.

Depends on the team with the 1st pick needs but I will guess but it will prob be Beck,Nuss, or Moore

I suspect you’d be wrong.
Go back and look at every draft over the last 20 years. The overwhelming majority 1st overall picks is a QB.

Damn this really might be one of the worst drafts in a long time

It's interesting for a football fan to think about who/what position should be the #1 pick in today's NFL. Most #1 QBs don't work out, some first rounders do, but most great ones are later. Yet the NFL is skewed towards QB play. The whole QB pay structure vs team quality vs QB protection/passing game subsidy from the NFL is interesting. The Eagles are a great team, but their window is fading fast because they committed so much to someone who's "good" but nowhere close to great (probably closer to "solid" than "great", in all honesty).
That list seems contrived because of Manning.
