Did we hire Stoops from you guys for a couple hours a year ago, and you guys got mad? I definitely remember that, what changed. Didn’t you guys beat Ole Miss?

Are you sure about that? Drinkwitz would have gone elsewhere if other top football programs had called him that year Missouri AD took a chance on him with only 1 year HC experience at a lower conference.

I don’t see it. Based on what I can find we’d owe him 75% of his remaining contract which would be $37.5 million + $8.39 million buying out his assistants (based on the info I can find). With Marrow leaving that does get us off the hook for his $1.3 million salary but we still have hire someone for the position so it’s still gonna cost something. And don’t forget, Stoops has in his contract that we have to pay him the full amount within 60 days of the notice to terminate. If it were spread out in installments it would be much easier to do but at the end of the day you are gonna have to pay at least $45+ million and you have to pay most of that within 2 months of firing. It’s just not gonna happen.

Thats a bold move.

Tax filing the following year would be a huge pain though

is your AD named Mitch Tanner or Ray Barnhart by chance? that Calipari contract was one thing - had no idea Stoops had UK by the short hairs with his - yikes -

There should be a coaches portal with no buyouts. Just let these greedy sons a bitches go from school to school like the hoodlum players are doing. Bought as well go ahead and burn it to the ground. It's all about over from a student-athlete standpoint.

Our AD needs to go, he's way past the expiration date. Unless Stoops leaves on his own he'll lose a lot of the goodwill he's earned.

Morrow going to UofL should have put a fleet of moving trucks in his drive.

There is 0.0000000001% chance Stoops survives another year unless he somehow with 8-10 games.

This schedule and roster we're looking at 4 wins. Maybe 5 if South Carolina, Auburn or Ole Miss shows up to drunk too play.

We've got the 3 cupcakes and randomly 1 SEC win somewhere.

Just for the posting potential, I hope your random SEC win is 1a. Texas. 1b. Auburn.
Either of those would make me happy.

Either one would be funny.

Ole Miss last year was about the only bright spot because of how hilarious it was

I fully expect to lose to both though.

Kentucky fans are going to be severely disappointed when he chooses a better job over Kentucky.

And no other program wants him now. Why is that?
