Texas and OU fans…now that year 1 is over for football, how did you enjoy the SEC?

Not necessarily the wins and losses, but the matchups week in and week out, road trips, SEC Network, etc. etc.
Compared to the previous years in the Big 12.
Did you miss anything?

Nope. Love the new neighborhood.

Loved it. Can’t wait till next year.
I do miss playing more teams from the state of TX, but certainly enjoyed playing the flagships from other states.

The matchups and venues are superior. There's nothing to miss about the BIG 12. It doesn't compare.
We had a very dark and negative slog of a season due to roster decimation which took some of the shine off of it for sure. Looking forward to a better season in 2025 with the ability to put our best foot forward.

WAY more fun on a weekly basis. As someone already mentioned, I’ll miss some of the in-state matchups, but it’s worth it to have TAMU back on the books. Hate them or not, it’s a tradition worth fighting for and fighting over. It took one game to make that apparent again. Having the aggies, sooners, and the chance every year for multiple elite matchups with other SEC teams makes for a better season and strengthens the program.
Overall, just a better, more competitive conference. Happy to be here.

OU admin finally got their much needed rude awakening that their holier than thou shiznit won’t work in the SEC. Other than that, it was refreshing playing legit teams even though we were arse.

Way exceeded expectations. Very excited to be here.

SEC was a cakewalk. Way overrated.
We played 8 regular conference games and won 7.
Took first place and never looked back.

I don't miss anything about the Big12 at all. I Love my Sooners being a member of the SEC.

Love it. I don’t miss playing any current Big 12 football member. I thought I would miss basketball but turns out SEC basketball is even better. And I’m really excited for SEC baseball.

It was a lot of fun, but I’ll take a mulligan please

I enjoyed the SEC but I really wish the conference leadership would have asked the fans who our every year opponent should be . I don't like to play Arkansas and Texas 8-5 every year.

Honestly, it’s the best thing that’s ever happened for our program.
Being in the SEC just feels right.

Make a trip to Alex Box, Dudy Noble, Swayze, Baum if you can.
SEC baseball has fantastic parks and atmospheres like no other conference. The above consistently get crowds of 10-15k per conference game.

Glad to be out of the big 12.
Playing the new schedule is great
We had a bad year for several reasons But we are undefeated in 25
