That whole post is just a bunch of made up shite.
I working as a DOD contractor for a year before taking my current job. As a contractor my workload was less and I go paid more. When I swapped over to Gov I actually took a $200 pay cut but I liked the job. Since then I’ve been promoted twice. If I could learn to cut corners and slack off like my fellow employees who do do shite then maybe staying would be an option. I’m looking forward to see what the DoD contracting jobs that have reached out to me. Looking forward to new change and new opportunities.
I am actually rooting for less Gov. just think with China/North Korea 2027 right around the corner that DOD would be left alone a little longer.

Yes, when woke broke into the Navy training I decided my Navy and the new Leadership was changing. Instead of going further I decided to retire at 21 years.
This email will not do me or my team any good. It’s already creating panic, add that to hearing probational/ temp workers might be fired. As much as I love and root for this administration, I have not liked his plan on reducing fed workers. To me DOD should be except from this round. Get a good plan together before we attack the DOD.

No we are not. We are saying the email doesn’t separate the hard workers from the weak workers.
And it adds risk of being fired since it’s sent to someone not in our COC.
If DOGE was really intending to cut cost they could simply ask me to provide 5 examples of fraud, waste and abuse at my department.

Idiot. I answer to my COC just as I did for 21 years of active duty. OPM/HR is not in my COC
In my field the civilian sector gets paid way more. I am also ready for promotion. Try harder.

What you don’t seem to get is that the Gov workers who take the time to respond to this email are the ones that need to, to keep their jobs. Most will be lifetime Gov employees who will use NIPR GPT to game the system to respond.
While people like me who pull their slack will scramble to write some quick Bluff on what I did that week.

I am not CC’ing someone not in my chain of command, have an NDA, or a need to know.
My supervisor has my receipts, if he/she wants to forward to OPM to keep my employed then they will.
Like I said earlier in the thread. Not all of us are shite Gov workers.

Sending our Supervision our weekly activity reports (WAR) was a requirement of teleworking. This is nothing new. Sending it to OPM is stupid.

Lumping ALL gov employees into one group is my only problem. I work for the DOD. Your freedom depends on my job performance.(Top Secret Security clearance) I do my job exceptionally and lead a strong team of performers. I retired after 20 years of Naval service prior to this job.
I do however work with Gov lifers who consistently find ways to not work, frick shite up, talk down and hate on Gov employees who served in the Military.
My only issue is people like you who lump me in a catch all category with those people.
