Parker Brailsford
Germie Bernard
Ryan Williams

everyone was else was bad to just okay. None of these guys were on the team last year. Gotta give DeBoer time to get some guys that fit and are not poisoned by the LANK player empowerment crap.

Jamarion Miller was good when he got the carries.

I mean, if you have a QB that takes half the running plays, and can't execute 70% of the passing plays, your offensive skill players probably aren't going to look great. The o-line wasn't great as a whole, but Booker was very good. Proctor was, apparently playing hurt much of the year. The right side needs work.

I thought Miller and the TEs were fine.

Not trying to beat a dead horse, but hard to tell who is good when the quarterback is so limited in many aspects of the position. I’m not denying the OL had their struggles this year, but Milroe made them look worse than they were. Receivers running wide open all year. RBs had opportunities taken from them by Milroe constantly making the wrong reads.

Someone posted a video of Milroe literally tipping off the defense on run vs. pass plays simply by how he aligned his feet pre-snap, putting the OL at a huge disadvantage. I acknowledge that Pritchett struggled a lot and Justice Haynes was extremely disappointing, but our QB (and OC to a degree) further exacerbated a lot of issues and put the other guys in a terrible spot all year long.

Those three, Booker, Miller, the TE group.

Was he really? Jam is adequate...but displayed no exceptional vision or burst. I dont recall the RBs turning any normal plays into huge runs

I think there is something to allowing your RBs to get in a rhythm carrying the ball. We never did that except maybe against one of the crap opponents early in the year.

Tough to do when the offense doesn't involve a lot of traditional designed handoffs and you're limited to 5-10 touches a game because the QB won't give the ball up on ZRs.

I agree with this list. Booker had too many issues with pass protection this year for me to put on the list although he had a much better season than either of the offensive tackles.

The TEs got more involved than any season since Irv Smith went pro. However, I don't think any of them were impact players...just beneficiaries of good schemes from the offensive staff. I imagine things are going to be fun for the TEs in this offense when they have a credible passer taking snaps.

Also, note that none of these guys were on Saban's last team. Two transfers that followed DeBoer from UDub and a true freshman.

Josh Cuevas was underutilized in my opinion. He looked good against Auburn and he was good for Washington in 2023. Hopefully with an actual quarterback throwing the ball in 2025 he can be used right.

I suspect Pritchett and Roberts were extremely banged up all season as well.

Those two seemed to need to be helped off the field or missed snaps nearly every week.

They were getting murdered on those interactions because QB4 wouldn’t read the defender.

I’d argue we have no idea how effective the entire offense could be moving forward due to the ripple effects from the QB position. We never even ran the DeBoer offense from UW although I think we saw glimpses of it in the 1H of the UGA game.

10 carries for 27 yards against Michigan. Yikes! He’s a decent back but not great.

I think we had coaching staff deficits at the end of the Saban era and most of them were on the offensive side of the ball. I think there is a reason that the defense found it legs over the course of the season and it was the simple fact that the coaching was better on that side of the ball in Saban's final years. However the two coaches retained from the prior staff are two of the weaker on-field coaches on this staff in my opinion (DL and RB). I'm not 100% sold on Roach being a dud - could be a recruiting evaluation or NIL issue - but I'm pretty confident in my opinion on Gillespie being a hack. Not a single tailback he's been solely responsible for developing has reached their potential.

Until we can give the position coaches a chance to reprogram the veterans and coach up the new enrollees for a couple years, I don't think we can make definitive judgments on any of the new ones. Both of the OL coaches after Flood were trash. Holoman Wiggins essentially only had 1 successful WR signee out of high school (Metchie) and inherited developed receivers from the prior position coach or another school for the rest of the hits under his watch. I do not think Bill O'Brien did a good job of preparing Bryce Young for the pros and has had to be retaught a bit by his new coach this year in Carolina. Needless to say nobody could get through to Milroe in his first 3 seasons.

Basically, I think the offensive spurting over the last two seasons is the culmination of pitiful coaching in the Saban regime. DeBoer is responsible for the product he put on the field but he wasn't dealt a great hand.
