Year 3, the team is rebuilt in deboer’s mold.
We should win 10 regular season, high playoff seed, and advance at least one more round than this year.

We should be in playoffs EVERY year and be competitive. No way for program like us to expect title games like before as long as $ rule.
Despite waning interest in all things college sports, it’s always sweet the next morning after beating moo u.
Nick saban was the only reason folks gave Alabama respect. Byrne, or anyone else at ua, has not garnered the same regard.
I also firmly believe Nick gumps for us on his own accord, and is not being utilized as much as he would be happy to be.
History repeats. Just go get x assistant coach and we’ll be better. We even talked ourselves into thinking that taking lower rated players would give us that missing fire and that we were unearthing diamonds in the rough right and left.
This time will work though.

Hope it all comes together and 2026 is a banner year.
It was more enjoyable to expect than it is to hope.

How quickly a great coach makes us forget.
People keep saying deboer just needs to do this or do that. Basically alluding to a more physical approach.
The approach of kd and rg is what it is. They are getting the talent and coaches they think fits their approach. Bama will win or lose with this approach.
I guarantee you kd doesnt give 2 s$)ts what the average fan thinks. He is smarter than the fanbase, period, and has plenty of cushion if it doesn't work out.
There’s an interesting name out there, hope kd doesn’t go for a buddy instead.
With the amount of money involved, leashes are shorter. Decisions still get made on substance, which is not simply “we lost 6 games” or “we made the playoffs and won a game”
Likely due to missing on others on their board. Need numbers whether they fit perfect or not at this point. Portal season has been…. Interesting.

Everything, whether its not being prepared for game/field conditions to not having papers signed, adds up.

the devil is in the details. This staff apparently doesnt pay attention to detail.
Even if they are not using one of the most valuable resources they have access to, others are.
Ultra rich and abke to compete with those few achools that are? No

Enough to compete with a majority of schools? Absolutely, but

The concerns within the program are much deeper. If they are not adequately addressed, the significant marginal money will disappear.
As long as folks keep watching on tv, its sustainable for a few schools on am ongoing basis and a bunch more will try to spend up every once in awhile.

Unless the masses turn away, its where we are and will be. Dont throw out a cb agreement will fix it. Why would players agree to a cb? They have ultimate power and no reason to agree to it.

Deboer is the master at doing more with less. He beat lanning and sark with teams full of rejects. He has taken out the high rated trash over the past 2 years and is paving the way to repeat his success at uw.
This year he will have his qb, his style o line and the defense will be an immovable force. He has remade the team in his image and you will see the fruits this year.
