For hiring DeBoer over Kiffin. With Kiffin, we would have kept most of our team (e.g., Bond). Kiffin would have also brought several Ole Miss players with him, including Dart. With Kiffin, we are in the playoffs. Fire Byrne!

This board would last approximately three series with Kiffin before they wanted to fire him. DeBoer at least made it 5 games

I kind of feel like I'm in crazy town seeing people stan for kiffin who lost 3 regular season games this season against 2 mediocre teams, and 1 awful team. And he can still lose 1 more.

Kiffin had a more experienced and talented team...and lost to Kentucky at home. It also
wasnt his first season. You are an idiot

My understanding is that deboer was byrne’s guy and saban said sure, he seems alright after talking to him.

At Ole Miss. That part conveniently gets left out every fricking time, as if it’s not an important factor.

Also, the above sounds just like a certain other weak, pathetic, dumbass, Great Value coach none of us had ever heard of until the last 12-13 months, but that many are defending as “the guy,” “the best available,” and who gets a mulligan even though he shite the bed with the best program and one of the most talented teams in football.

He also is a manchild with the emotional maturity of an extra in Porky’s.

Williams had a better year than Bond.

Kiffin lost two games he shouldn't have this year.

The Nate Oats hire is enough for me to give Byrne another chance even if CKD flops. Going to a final four in basketball is especially meaningful to long time fans.

Byrne is much less competent without Nick saban to lean on. I know Nick is still “employed” but that’s another discussion.

Kiffin didn’t make the playoffs with them at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has plenty of talent on the team.

Aren't we comparing Kiffin and DeBoer? DeBoer has accomplished more than Kiffin as a college football head coach. I'm not excusing DeBoer's record this season, but to pine for a coach that did no better and has never done better, is weird.

I like Kiffin but until he does something noteworthy as a head coach, I don't understand the love fest.

I have a serious question for you all. After Alabama was left at the altar by the playoff committee, many Alabama fans had the typical knee-jerk emotional negative reaction.

Truthfully, do you now think this team "deserved" to be there? I mean, would you have enjoyed seeing this sorry team and QB be cannon fodder for Penn State or Notre Dame?

Obviously, I don't.
