Honest opinion of how your team did this regular season.

UF did way better than I thought they would. I was shocked at the improvement, especially after we started the season off so terribly. It kind of sucks though because we have lowered our expectations so much that we are happy with 7-5. Of course it helps when you finish strong.
Napier was spared getting fired because I don't think our athletic director knew what else to do, but it looks like it was the right decision now. If we start the season off in 2025 like we did in 2024 he will go right back on the hot seat.

I didn't expect the defense of Texas to go from one of the worst passing defenses to one of the best in the country, while maintaining some decent run stopping defense after losing two defensive tackles to the NFL.
Offense has been rather lackluster as far as my preseason expectations. We have 4-5 WRs that will be playing on Sundays, 4 lineman, and preseason Heisman favorite at QB but something just seems off. Maybe it was our starting RB getting hurt before the season or maybe it's this big mental strut QE is having since his injury.
The nicest thing about this regular season, though the offense under performed, none of games were ever in doubt (besides georgia). It was a nice feeling in contrast to the last 10+ years of comfortably being in control of a game even if the score was closer than we might've liked.

I'm happy with it. We looked atrocious vs Georgia and that hangover lasted a couple weeks for me.
Sark said they scouted themselves after that game and while Ewers is still shaky at times the team made alot of successful adjustments.
I really enjoyed the SEC and that really made a huge difference for this fan's season experience.

Disappointing.
LSU got blown out by Bama’s worst team in a decade, and lost three other games to teams
that we were arguably better than in Southern Cal, A&M and Florida.
The wins over Ole Miss and Carolina were nice as those are at least playoff caliber teams, but that’s hardly any consultation.

Met expectations but fell below potential. Frustrating overall.
When you lead the nation in fumbles and have 3 one possession losses it's hard not to play what-if.

B- ?
10 of the games were either slightly under expectation, at expectation or well above it. That's pretty good.
2 of the games were so far under expectation it's hard to know where to start.
Considering it's a new staff, the turnover this year and the fact that the QB play can be so up or down, I'm kind of holding out to see what things look like next year after a full year under their belts and with the kids in their program.

Slightly disappointing.
Went 1-2 in the biggest road games.
Went 5-0 against the rivals on the schedule (Auburn, GTU, Florida, Tennessee, Clemson).
Still big mad about the loss at Alabama.
WRs are arse. Beck is inconsistent. RBs have been disappointing.
DL has been very good but not absolutely all universe which is what I expected. Corners have had moments where they look like converted WRs making their first starts in the secondary.
Bobo can't be around next year.
And with all that negative, still playing for the SEC Championship.

B
I was expecting 10-2, maybe better, and a playoff bid.
We got 9-3 and on the bubble.
Still a good year.

Disappointing but also not disappointing? Defense showed improvement despite the talent level still being pretty weak. Offensive downtick should've been expected but the OL was also a lot worse than we hoped. Despite all of that we're a few dropped passes away from playing in Atlanta? But we were also punked by Bama, lost to an embarrassing USC team, and lost to Florida.
you can argue it's unacceptable for year 3 and I wouldn't disagree. You could also argue stepping into a program with 37 players and being forced to flip a roster through the portal portends to a not-so-linear progression path and some regression was expected after a strong first two years and I wouldn't disagree with that assertion either.
I don't know if BK will win a title at LSU, but strangely that doubt has nothing to do with the product I saw on the field even if the results weren't good enough. Id give the season a strong C. Could've been worse. Could've been better.

We get a C. We easily could be a 1 loss team. Very up and down at QB. Coach gets a pass for his 1st yr. Wouldn't be surprised if Bama does get in that we don't make a run.

Florida did way better than I expected as well and that gives Napier more time.
i'm not sure if this season means Napier has a higher ceiling than average or above average.
Critics and advocates are both still right at the moment.

Just barely under expectations but 1-2 plays would have put it over expectations.
I have no idea what to expect next year. We’ll be buying some help.

C+, I saw vague glimpses of what I wanted to see, but still not good enough and dont really like the trajectory we are on.
Not sure how we lost to USCw, not sure how we beat Ole Miss. Got really lucky against USCe, then got really unlucky against aggie.
I like the offense and QB development. The team is still lacking talent in a lot of positions. Defense did well imo.
I think the rain killed us against bama. Our entire identity just doesnt work in the rain. Need to get tougher in the trenches.

Incredibly happy. Dylan Sampson & the defense were exceptional most of the season. Nico is the first freshman in Tennessee history to win 10 regular season games. And he was very much finding himself through out the season and has a ton of room to grow. Wins over our biggest rivals in Alabama & Florida. Most importantly we're headed to the playoffs.
Tennessee also finished with 30 wins over the last 3 seasons for the first time in decades. Happy with the season and the future outlook with Heupel

Disappointed, we had a very good year by our history, but we missed a big opportunity. Built a ton of momentum after last year via signing day and transfer portal. Got the right pieces, returned the entire WR & TE room, 5th year Sr QB, most of oline...
But our leader QB never looked right all year...even when healthy..was bad...we went from a top 20 offense to around 100th. Felt like we struggled just waiting on him to find his touch...as his pocket presence and happy feet got worse. Was sad...much higher expectations.
We were nails in the last few minutes of games..winning 4 that way
And losing to USCe that way also...
Had we held on.. at 10-2 we would be in the playoffs. PERIOD. A playoff team probably headed to play Notre Dame in South Bend or Texas in Austin ...dream road games for sure..
9-3 is good..Mizzou wins games under Eli, it didn't used to win..but we never scratched our potential this year... and THAT HURTS.

The one thing we couldn't do we did, we let Cook get hurt. So I think we did well considering Pyne was the backup. But Pyne beating OU saved the season. I'd give us a B-.

Well, winning 9 games is a great season for The Tigers. We could have back to back 10 win seasons with a Bowl victory.
However, I'm disappointed to a degree. We had South Carolina beat with one minute to go and lost the game. If we had held onto the lead and gone 10-2 we'd be in the CFP.
But again....we went 7-0 at home and won some thrilling SEC contests, so it was a fun season. Football is entertainment and I was entertained.

First four games: worse than expected
Next four games: about what I expected.
Last four games: ok there's finally hope for the future.
Before the season I said 6-6 saves Billy's job. I called 8-4 the upper end of our prospects, so 7-5 is not thrilling, but the reality is we were a few injuries away from 9-3.
2022: D+
