re: BK mentality coaching for players?

I remember reading that article and thinking about how funny it was that there was such a strong narrative that no one wanted to follow BK to LSU from ND. You can always find good assistant coaches, its the support staff and people behind the scenes like Selking and Dr. Matt Frakes who make the diff...

Apart from like the whole process thing which is based entirely about habit-building and accomplishing individual tasks instead of being bogged down by wins and losses, there was some article in the off-season about a few psychologists who came with BK from ND. safe to say he is into that stuff abo...
oh man we're really back aren't we???...
That game should have been 0-0 going into OT. Both of Bama’s scores were ref-aided.
It should've. But we could've played that game 10 times over and im not sure LSU is scoring a point. ...
im taking an OTB reunion over any combo that involves 'scone'...

football for the sole fact of how fluky baseball postseasons are. an 11-2/12-1 year with a sugar bowl will always feel better than a dominant regular season that ends in the supers or early in Omaha to a hot team. ...
ABC hasn’t broadcasted an SEC conference prime time game in over 20 years So yea probably not
it's against the tv contract. no network besides CBS is allowed to televise games on an SEC campus. But Herbie and Fowler will call the game on ESPN. ...
I agree with the hurts comp and the overall premise that Daniels will not have trouble being drafted, however Malik's offensive line was absolutely disgusting. Id take him over Daniels easily. ...

re: Perkins vs White speed

Perk has a verified 4.49 40 after his junior year. White ran a 4.42 at the combine. I agree he's probably a little more fluid than white, which imo is sort of reflected in the fact that he played both receiver and DB in HS. the guy is unbelievable. ...
yes 100%. the best example of this is Bama-Ole Miss from last year, but basically when you are an underdog and don't feel like you can stop the other teams offense being super aggressive on 4th down both increases your chance of victory but also dramatically increases the likelihood of a blowout if ...
True, but Josh Allen is the exception...not the rule.
And yet some GM is going to put his entire career on the line and mortgage his franchise's future in Will Levis in a few months. I don't think y'all are appreciating how thirsty NFL teams are to find QBs. ...
not surprised this is getting killed but I'd ask anyone who thinks he has no shot at being drafted to look at the recent QBs taken in the latter rounds of recent drafts. Skylar Thompson, Kellen Mond (3rd round pick lmao), Jake Fromm, Cole McDonald, Nate Stanley, Ian Book, and Sam Elhinger were all ...
i think a better hypothetical is what LSU's offense looks like against UT with Campbell and Dellinger. I said it at the time that was Jayden's best performance of the year up to that point. BK said it after the game yesterday and I agree--the switch clicked after the auburn game. Can't see us be...
he’s played regular snaps, he completely changed the game yesterday and he bottled up Richardson in the 4th quarter of last weeks game as a spy.
He completely missed a TE in the flat against Florida that would've resulted in a touchdown had the player not dropped it. No one is s...

re: Brian Kelly vs Lincoln Riley

Lincoln would've brought Caleb williams over and we'd probably be 7-0 right now with a ton of hype. However I think the moves BK made specifically with S&C and his overall 'process' will give us a better chance of being competitive against the truly elite in the future. It worked out perfectly...
Why not, we did it for stingley his freshman year, and the honey badger his sophmore year.
? Aranda always used man coverage at LSU. Stingley fit into that defense like a glove. I'd say the same for Mathieu in Chavis' scheme. The 'mustang' spot worked perfectly for him in part be...
disagree, just make a position for him and keep your best players on the field. These guys are paid way too much money to not figure out a way to have BJ and Perkins on the field at the same time.
that's not how it works lmao ...
I saw one half yesterday where Perkins played 10% of snaps, the defense allowed 300 yards and 20 points I saw another half yesterday where Perkins played 90% of snaps, the defense allowed 70 yards and 0 points
Wherein Perkins played on the edge and was used primarily as a pass r...
I'm so tired of seeing this shite. Do y'all really think he wouldn't be out there all the time if the coaches had faith he could do it? Using him as a Sam on third downs is similar to what aranda did with White his freshmen year. Just give it time. ...
