Thank God I'm not a fan of auburn, ut(tenn), miss st, texas a&m, Florida, but mostly thank God I'm not a fan of lsu.

I've been a fan of Mizzou since the early 80's. It's been a tough ride.
I took some customers (gumps) to the Bama - Pedo St game about ten years ago and they were all over me to switch to being a fan with them.
I wore a Mizzou polo.
Really cool atmosphere and game, though.
We also went to the Mizzou - Bama game four years ago, when they first played Dixie Land Delight again. Another really cool atmosphere and game.

With Kentucky's long and illustrious history as a football program, there isn't really any team I feel pity for.

I can see the value in being a fan of any of the following:
Bama, AU, UGA, UT, LSU, UF, A&M, Texas, OU
Missouri is fine and obviously operating at peak right now, but I just don't find much attractive about the institution, fan base, etc.
Ole Miss is probably on the list right now I just think they'll return to mean at some point before too long. But I certainly understand why OM people like OM and are committed to it.
MSU...yikes. Baseball I guess? Being the second team in Mississippi is a tough road but I respect their fans for it.
SCAR is a tough one. Tough weekend, but they have their moments. It's a fine school in a fine state with good people and good fan support. I just don't really meet people passionate about South Carolina, which is a bit weird considering my proximity and the depth of their fan support. To the extent there are South Carolina people with cult-like love for South Carolina, I just don't really know where it comes from/what it involves.

Unfortunate as the timing may be (since retard LSU fans will just claim 'salt'), I am most thankful to God that I am not an LSU fan. Why? Because it would have to mean I have some sort of connection to the state of Louisiana, which has managed to be so shitty that it has fallen well below even Mississippi.
So, while LSU fans may have gotten to go back with a W, at least I can hold the L here in South Carolina and take comfort in the fact that I am not from, have never lived, and never will live in that shithole state.
