Saw that quote recently from him and had to kind of laugh. I know that's the attitude Texas players and fans had when it came to the Big 12 but Bubba, you aint in the Big 12 no more.

Yes, Texas is a good program and they're going to win a lot of games but unlike in the Big 12, he's going to find much tougher sledding in the SEC with Bama, UGA and maybe even LSU better than you and most of the other teams (minus Vandy) being capable of beating your a$$ if you don't play well.

I knew they were arrogant but I bet a lot of SEC fans didn't realize just how off the charts their arrogance is. Gonna be funny seeing them lose some game in the years to come that they shouldn't have lost.

Yes, Quinn. Texas is a big game but THE BIGGEST? Nah.

The crazy part of that is they are used to losing to teams they shouldn’t already. Last year was the first year they’ve overachieved.

That's not exactly true. He said he expected them to be in the SECCG. Didn't say that Texas was going to be the best year in and year out. Huge difference.

Its pretty funny that Texas has won more than 9 games once under Sark, and has only two 10 or more win seasons in the past 13 years, and they are acting like they are about to come into the SEC and run shite. They basically had the same season we did last year, but they are acting like they are "back", yet we felt like it was a disappointing season.

Too bad they're only playing ONE big game in the SEC next year...

Seriously, whose dick did they suck to dodge Bama, LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mizzou (number 2 in the east) and Jordan Hare???

Not being argumentative... but I took it as Quinn Ewers speaking for the team he is currently playing on. But who knows

They didn't overachieve last year. Still lost to Oklahoma. With the resources they had relative to the other schools in the Big XII, a conference championship should have been the minimum expectation for them.

Texas has always been convinced that everyone hates them because of their success. But they've only won the national title once in over 50 years. The real reason everyone hates them is because they have the single most arrogant and entitled culture in college football. Even losing to small private schools like TCU and Baylor almost annually in the 2010s, sometimes by huge margins, did nothing to reduce their hubris.

I think part of the reason most of the Big 12 hated them was because years ago, they had the balls to demand more $$$ from the Big 12 (a greater share of the profits) than other schools. They acted like the Big 12 was "lucky" to have Texas in the conference.

Yes, Texas seemed to win more (overall in most sports) and they clearly had the most money to throw around but not surprisingly, the rest of the conference hated them for their collective arrogance. So, I'm not surprised at all that their arrogance has carried over to the SEC.

They act like UGA fans but probably worse and yet only have one NC since the early 1970s. I feel confident they will quickly become the most hated team in the conference by other fans for their arrogance and obnoxiousness.

Bingo! Most Bama fans DO NOT REALIZE what a horrible CANCER Tex-sux is and always has been.

We love Sark so we ASSUME TU must be ok since Sark is there. They are not.

Tex’s Megalomania has Destroyed TWO good conferences. And looking at their schedule, it’s obvious to me that some kind of shady “deal” has been made to get them into the SEC.
Mark my words, this is a huge mistake, and in due time, we will all come to regret letting them in the conference..

I think he's actually right, *for this year.*. Everyone is going to want to smack down Texas and Oklahoma this year.

After that, though, probably not. Unless they have incredible success (unlikely).

Only reason I'm excited to play Texas is to fix the historical series record with them.
