What are you talking about? Find where “people like me” have said ANYTHING about Southern Cal.

You think throwing money at a program is an automatic fix? What if I told you that was not true and we have a very recent example to prove if?

People like you were saying Southern Cal would never be a force again. Look at their recruiting and most importantly their defensive staff. USC has money to burn and now they have their NIL rolling. I believe Arkansas is just getting started.

Arkansas has been nonexistent in the NIL for football.

Stephens, Lindseys, Hunts, Tysons, Jerry Jones. They just have to be motivated.

Well we have a few more than that which all share a last name that each have more money than all those put together, but they are even less interested in sports.

One thing about Sam is he’s honest and may say things he shouldn’t for his own sake. He said it hurt to lose Odom because of the head coaching experience he had and that Petrino can help in that regard and he’s completely handing over the offense to him.

Like Sam or not, he wants this program to win and he’s not ashamed or too proud to ask for help to do it . He can oversee the program and let the coaches coach and hopefully he can get the success he wants for the program.

But if the program doesn’t pony up with nil we’ll just go find another coach to fail with meager resources.

Football has been abandoned and left for dead.

The Hunts are already involved in basketball. So it’s now a collection of billionaire donors and not just one.

But your basketball team is talk of the town at the moment.

Why give Pittboss another year then?

I believe it was the collection of having to pay Pittman buyout money plus getting money for NIL. After this season, Pittman’s buyout drops quite a bit and it also drops even more if he is below .500 in his tenure.

So we may just be 6 months away from seeing a shift there IMO.

Let me ask...not trolling..but if this football is the same as the last..and Sam has to go, I want to honestly and legally ask this question. CAN BOBBY P be rehired as the HC? I know his termination ultimately came down to lying and manipulating equal opportunity regulations. Is this written in stone? Or for certain? I am curious..because that bit of knowledge will shape your program for the near future.

The AD has stated that there is no path for BP to ever be the head coach at Arkansas again.

You realize we have a few billionaires up there, right? It’s just getting them to spend it on football like we just did in basketball.

Don’t care how many billionaires you have. Money isn’t enough to fix Arkansas’ problems in football. You are in the middle of a recruiting wasteland. You can spend all the money in the world to convince kids to go there, but that, alone will never be enough to build a top end football program.

Arkansas needs to take all their NIL and go all in on basketball and baseball. Throwing it at football is a total waste.

Just need football to be a 7-5 program yearly and that will be enough to support the rest.

Are you implying Arkansas does not have a strong tradition in basketball?

Didn’t you spend all last offseason telling us how great Dennis Gates was? I think you might want to sit this one out.

Last time we had to replace a head coach in April is what started this shitty spiral of our football program
