The chicken man isn't going to throw away millions in NIL money on a coach who said he didn't know what to do.

DVH asked for more NIL money and got it. Say what you want about him but he produces results.

Muss got plenty in NIL. Something went sour with the boosters and got less supposedly. Then he started looking for other jobs when his feelings got hurt. Quit coaching, caring this year and hauled arse when the USC job opened up.

No one in Arkansas is going to pour money in NIL for football until they hire a coach that knows what he is doing.

Bobby just had to take the hog for a ride in the spring time with his side piece.

Don’t care how many billionaires you have. Money isn’t enough to fix Arkansas’ problems in football. You are in the middle of a recruiting wasteland. You can spend all the money in the world to convince kids to go there, but that, alone will never be enough to build a top end football program.

I disagree. Hire the right coach plus NIL and Arkansas football can be a power. Recruiting is now about developing players and NIL. The end.

NIL proves once again it has changed the game and tradition alone is becoming a nonfactor. If you have the money you can get what you want. Tradition rich but not so wealthy schools are worried.

What are you talking about? Arkansas has tradition.

If you hire a coach who can help players get into the NFL you will build Arkansas into a power. It is doable if you have the right AD.

Arkansas did with Frank Broyles, Lou Holtz and Ken Hatfield.

But that was decades ago and those days are over.

Arkansas doesn't have the right tools to have a successful football program.

Too many awful hires since joining the SEC and fans just don't have the stomach for it anymore.

Football is annoying and just filler at this point.

But you just want it to be a 6-6/7-5 program and not let get in the way of basketball and baseball.

Shaft Williams wants Arkansas to be good at football more than most Arkansas fans do.

When you have been as bad as Arkansas has been and being told lie after lie that things are turning around then you stop believing the bullshite.

You stop caring because history keeps repeating itself and it becomes the new norm.

No excuse on why they are this bad for so long but when people in power don't care then why should the average Arkansas fan?

You can only do so much as a fan who has little money and no influence on the program. You understand what a waste of time and money it is.

Arkansas puffing their chests out about getting a coach Kentucky wanted to run out of town is kinda hilarious.

I heard Sam Pittman gets paid in chinese buffets

Not Chinese food, but the whole buffet. One local joint has to give them the deed to their establishment every year. My sources tell me we tried to pull a fast one on him last year and give him a Golden Corral, and he said "what the frick do I look like, Bert?" We mysteriously go 4–8 after that conversation.

No, he should have been fired at the end of last year.

I obviously missed some things this weekend ... Arkansas doesn't really get serious about football. Basketball is what they take pride in
